ELECTRIC LETTUCE CULTIVARS 5/5
A shock of creative energy from the company that owns Oregon powerhouse Cannabis brands Serra, Farma and Prüf Cultivar, Electric Lettuce does things its own way, and does them right. The shop’s extensive deli-style selection displayed on its flower wall forgoes the common classification system of sativa, indica and hybrid, instead employing its own rules. Customers choose by effect, which Electric Lettuce labels from energetic to relaxed as follows: active, aware, groovy, cosmic, mellow and easy. Sourced from a small number of curated farms, a significant portion of the flower comes from Prüf Cultivar, as well as The Heights and a small stable of other solid producers, such as Deschutes Growery, Ideal Cannabis, 7 Points and Yerba Buena. Look for GMO Cookies and Fatso from The Heights, as well as a 2:1 CBD heavy Astral Works from Prüf - and make sure to ask for some free smells from the helpful, friendly staff.
EDIBLES & WELLNESS
5/5
34
Aside from flower, one of the huge draws of this Electric Lettuce location is the vast array of edibles and wellness products on display. A huge selection of high-end Serra branded edibles complements products from Leif Goods, Go Fudge Yourself, Mr. Moxey’s, Wyld, SDK and others. The refrigerated section boasts edibles from Laurie + Maryjane, Enjoy shots, and drinks from Legal, Magic Number and Herban Tribe. Electric Lettuce also carries a full lineup of products from Siskyou Sungrown, High Desert Pure, Luminous Botanicals and more. They even carry the new gel capsule line from Luminous! If you want medication without inhalation, this shop has you covered.
CONCENTRATES 3/5
This Electric Lettuce location doesn’t have the broadest array of concentrates, but what it does have is well-chosen. A selection of dabbables from respected extractors Bobsled, Echo Electuary, Willamette Valley Alchemy, White Label Extracts, Funk Extracts and Elephant Extracts will keep your torch fire burning. Cartridges from Avitas, Mule Extracts, Willamette Valley Alchemy and Buddies in standard 510 threading and PAX pod format will keep you discrete on the street.
ENVIRONMENT

5/5
Those of us who came up watching “That 70s Show” will feel right at home at Electric Lettuce. While each shop has its own unique flavor, they are all designed to look like the 1970s basement haven we all wished we had in our houses growing up. Pop culture kitsch and stoner-friendly memorabilia line the shelves and walls, and before long, you feel like taking a seat in one of the midcentury lounge chairs.
OVERALL 18/20
Impeccably conceived, painstakingly curated and professionally staffed, the Rose Quarter location of the Electric Lettuce family of dispensaries is the perfect place to pick up an eighth, preroll pack, or a bagful of edibles ahead of a Blazers game or concert at the Moda Center. Plus, with multiple locations in Portland and the surrounding area, you may be able to find one of their living rooms somewhere close to your own.
