Department roles: director, assistant director, coordinator of operations, coordinator of upperclassman and special populations, coordinator of first year experience, 4 complex directors and 4 hall directors.

DEVELOPMENT
COMPLEX DIRECTOR AND HALL DIRECTOR JOB DESCRIPTION ■■
The hall director position is a 10-month live in professional staff member and the complex director position is a 12-month live in professional staff member.
■■
Responsible for total operations of a residence hall or complex of halls including but not limited to crisis intervention with on campus duty rotation, advising hall council, building judicial officer, budget management, and serve on 1-2 department committees.
■■
Direct supervision anywhere from 3-10 Resident/student Assistants, an Academic Resource Consultant in Hall (ARCH-only in freshman buildings), a BRIDGE (Building Relationships and Integrating Diverse Growth Experiences) and a Desk Manager (Phillips, Dieterich and South Halls only). Complex directors also supervise a hall director and/or an Assistant Complex Director (ACD).

Remuneration includes a stipend, furnished apartment with cable and internet, competitive health benefits, reserved parking spot and meal plan.

Hall directors are full-time graduate students taking nine credit hours per trimester and must be accepted into a graduate program at Northwest.

Complex directors are able to take undergraduate or graduate classes at any time, but are encouraged to wait until after their first year.
