Grab a bite before you cast off: In partnership with the Washington State Food Truck Association, the Port of Everett is welcoming a buffet of food trucks to the docks for your lunching pleasure all summer long. Fuel up with fare like arepas and empanadas from Paparepas Venezuelan Food (7/1); European-inspired wraps from Black Sea (7/22); and even sweet treats from Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt (7/15 and 7/29) and GoodBelly (7/1); you’ll find them all at the intersection of 10th St and West Marine Drive on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Seafair Summer Fourth

Gas Works Park, Lake Union Park, & Afloat on Lake Union in Seattle

Voted one of the nation’s best fireworks shows by both USA TODAY and Business Insider, the SeaFair fireworks show is an all-time summer highlight. Landlubbers can watch from the grass at either Gas Works or Lake Union Park as the show lights up the 4th of July night, but we all know the best view is from aboard your own vessel; cast off early to snag a prime spot on the water.

Fourth Of July At Roche Harbor

Created by the Port Townsend Pocket Yachters club and now part of Northwest Maritime Center's family of events, the Salish 100 is the largest small-boat cruise in North America as over 135 boats together cruise 100 nautical miles—the full length of Puget Sound—from Olympia to Port Townsend. SAIL-IN CINEMA

Boxcar Park, Port of Everett Marina in Everett

This one-of-a-kind, free outdoor movie series takes place every Friday night from July 21 through August 25, offering a selection of films and fun at Port of Everett’s Boxcar Park. You can either “sail in” to watch aboard your boat or “walk in” to the park to enjoy the night’s flick being shown on the 40-foot inflatable screen. This month’s options include: Lyle, Lyle Crocodile (7/21), and Top Gun: Maverick (7/28).

Port Townsend Pocket Yacht Palooza

Northwest Maritime Center in Port Townsend

Mark your calendar for this fun, free family event as 50-plus small, trailerable boats will be exhibited for viewing, including sail and oar, small motor cruisers, kayaks, rowing craft, and more. (Following the event, many of the exhibitors, and others, will also cast off on the 2023 Pocket Yacht Crooza, a three-day group cruise to Puget Sound locations beginning on Sunday, July 30.)
