Hitting the market last year and amassing just 41 hours of total engine usage, this 2022 Brabus Shadow 900 XC is the closest thing you’ll likely find to a “brand new” boat on the used market. Sporting a stylish platinum grey gelcoat paint job, the sleek 900 XC is built for speed, with twin Mercury 450 Verado Racing Engine outboards to give it a healthy 30-knot cruising speed and a head-turning 60 knots in a sprint. But even at this young age, the Brabus has already had a few upgrades, such as a Seakeeper II gyroscope to ensure a smoother ride at high speeds, Burnewiin gunwale mounts, and Cannon Optimum 10 BT electric downriggers.
In this particular package, the 900 XC cockpit includes a standing wet bar for meal and beverage preparation, an integrated electric grill, a wash basin, a top-loading refrigerator, and multiple storage compartments for water sports adventure gear. The cockpit also features folding aft seats, making it a prime location for social interaction.
Side decks lead forward to doors on both sides of the main cabin, where an L-shaped settee surrounds a central dining table to accommodate up to six people. The furniture inside the cabin is upholstered in Silvertex cappuccino colored fabrics and light-gray leather. A Fusion Marine entertainment system with multiple speakers is paired with an array of LED ambient light configurations for an underwater transom illumination, creating customizable atmosphere settings for any kind of gathering.
The helm is equipped with a full glass helm information display, with two 12" Simrad screens and Brabus user interface for a selection of driver-orientated sport modes. Other features include joystick piloting, an automotive-style leather wheel, autopilot, skyhook digital anchoring, and an Intelligent Steering Module, with integrated trim tab, bow-thruster, and audio controls. Large windows, including a forward-raked windshield, provide spectacular, 360-degree views from anywhere inside the cabin.
One of the more noteworthy features on the main deck is a pair of gull-wing doors that open to reveal the cabin space and lounge area belowdecks, blending the indoor and outdoor environment on board. Forward of the doors is seating at the bow and a large sun pad with adjustable backrests.
The queen-size berth beneath the gull-wing doors is large enough for two people and includes an enclosed head and a luxurious, leather-appointed front lounge. Aft of the berth is a media wall that includes a 42” flat-screen 4K TV with Apple TV connectivity.
