This is where I first came in contact with the the world of fashion and editorial photography. I was very much drawn to this medium, so I decided to pursue my education in the field of photography. Recently some further collaborations have brought me in contact with the world of cinematography and direction of photography for film. I have always enjoyed this progression in my education and work, one thing leads to another and there is always room for new experiences and new opportunities. My recent experimentation with film has seen the nature of the work shift in focus from the finished work of art, towards a more process-driven approach, which allows for the narrative to come through the work in a multitude of layers. My recent work has also in a way brought me full circle, going back to the human body where it all started. Working with contemporary dance and choreographers, opened up a whole new dimension to my approach towards spatial and temporal understanding.
