amicus is excited to announce its renewed partnership with NYOS as the designated choice for players wishing to keep up orchestral playing after leaving NYOS. amicus was founded in 2008 by former NYOS players to provide opportunities for highly trained amateurs to continue their life-long exploration of music. amicus is making its mark as a leading amateur orchestra in Scotland and recently appeared on BBC Radio Scotland's Classics Unwrapped Christmas programme. We continue to develop and maintain relationships with conductors, soloists, and institutions such as the RCS, aiming to support both up-and-coming and established talent from Scotland. Recent collaborations include William Conway, Maximiliano Martín, Gordon Bragg, Oliver Rundell, Michael Bawtree, Christian Kluxen, and Laura Samuel. amicus Winter Concert 13 November 2016 St. Andrew's in the Square, Glasgow Kathryn Bryan – flute Jessica Cottis – conductor www.amicusorchestra.com amicusorchestra @amicusorchestra
