EN ROSE Make it PINK!
Audrey Hepburn, 1955
In 1955, English photographer Norman Parkinson, who
documented the glamorous Golden Age of Couturein his postwar images, photographed Audrey Hepburn in a light pink day dress, positioned in front of a background of fuchsia-colored flowers.
Perhaps referencing the Parkinson image, with or without the
intent of positioning Natalie Portman as a modern day Hepburn, Tim Walker photographed Portman similarly dressed in a pale pink Dior dress, standing in front of a wall composed of flowers in various hues of pinks for Miss Dior Cherie’s 2013 fragrance campaign.

Victor Vasarely Inspiration - Pattern
Edgar Degas Inspiration - Artist Mostly Degas’s works are about ballerinas woman and flower. In my opinion, these three things are related. Flower which reflect beauty and gentleness equals the feminine and woman.
In this pattern by Victor Vasarely, use variety shape in forming the pattern. I like the idea of using different shapes in making because it not only look creative, but , also reflect diversity in life and people.
Daisy itself mean the day’s eye referring to the way this flower opens and closes with the sun. The reason I choose Daisy is because it’s one of my favorite flower. It reflect beauty in simplicity, pure and innocent.

Feeling & Meaning
The feeling I want people to feel when see my work is diversity and
equality can be together. From the pattern you can see that they are in difference shape and color, reffering to people come in many shapes and color. The flower reflect women, even they are in different shapes and colors, they are stil pretty in their own way, just like human. The meaning of the piece is that everyone is equal, no matter how they are outside, we are still the same thing, a pretty little pure and innocent Daisy.

Feeling&Meaning
The main meaning that I want the people who see this work
to feel that everyone is equal, no matter what color they are outside. This concept is continue from the concept of the Black and White pattern work. I want the peoplewho see the work to feel that everyone can live in the society together and when they are together, it’s more beautiful than being alone.

SECOND STAR TO THE RIGHT
Think of all the wonderful thoughts Inspire fully on the movie, Peter Pan by Walt Disney Picture. Aim to inspire the people who see it that anything can happen if you just have faith, trust and pixie dust. It is not hard at all to travel to Neverland, if you just believe.
s.
The inspiration for this work come from three things, faith, trust and pixie dust.
More importantly is the story of Peter Pan that give the wording, object and overall inspiration. Boat refer to the transportation that take the Darlings back to London combine with ‘minimo’ font which is minimal. The whole work become Fairy Tales with modern twist to it. Peter Pan is one of my favorite becuase it’s not only inspiring but also make me happy from time to time. Everytime I watch it, I never ever want to grow up.
“Dreams do come true, if only we wish hard enough. You can have anything in life if you will sacrifice everything else for it.” ― J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan
Peter Pan is a character created by
Scottish novelist and playwright J. M. Barrie. A mischievous boy who can fly and never grows up, Peter Pan spends his never-ending childhood adventuring on the small island of Neverland as the leader of his gang, the Lost Boys, interacting with mermaids, Native Americans, fairies, pirates, and occasionally ordinary children from the world outside of Neverland. In addition to two distinct works by Barrie, the character has been featured in a variety of media and merchandise, both adapting and expanding on Barrie's works.
Neverlands are compact
enough that adventures are never far between. It says that a map of a child's mind would resemble a map of Neverland, with no boundaries at all.
FASHION
by Mayhem
Huate Couture from paper Mayhem Keiser went through the typical toddler dress up phase but soon got bored of play clothes and started asking her mother Angie to create dresses out of household items such as pillow cases and dish towels. When Angie found some of her own clothes in Mayhem’s toy box, she came up with an idea.
“One day I told her, ‘I bet we can make a dress out of paper.” - Angie Keiser
Mayhem loved the plan and the first creation
used colored construction paper held together by masking tape. After that, it became a daily project with Mayhem selecting paper color and giving instructions on what each piece should look like While she’s not allowed to use scissors to cut the paper, Mayhem is actively involved in the process and learns more with each dress she makes, says Angie, who along with her husband Keith own a photography studio in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Since creating the first dress nine months ago, Angie started posting pictures of the dresses on her blog and an Instagram account. (She’s in the process of changing that account to ‘FashionbyMayhem’, which because of all the media attention already has 7,500 followers even though there are no posts on it.) When they started to run out of ideas for dresses, Angie and Mayhem turned to the Internet for inspiration.
“It has been a lot of fun to watch. She has learned that when you put the pieces flat next to each other, they won’t work.” - Angie Keiser
While watching the Country Music Awards one night, Angie noticed the gold dress of Band by Perry singer Kimberly Perry. “I thought it looked like paper and might be easy to make,” she says. The next day, she showed the picture to Mayhem, who loved it. After that, awards shows such as the Golden Globes and the Grammys, plus shows like Project Runway, became fodder for ideas.

PEZ TOY The candy you buy not for eating. PEZ Candy, Inc. is a candy company world-famous for producing character dispensers that hold fruit-flavored candy pieces. Originally an Austrian company, the name PEZ comes from the letters at the beginning, middle and end of the German word for peppermint, Pfefferminz, the first PEZ flavor.
Pez was originally introduced in
Austria, later exported, notably to the U.S., and eventually became available worldwide. The all-uppercase spelling of the logo echoes the trademark's style on the packaging and the dispensers themselves, with the logo drawn in perspective and giving the appearance that the letters are built out of 44 brick-like Pez candies (14 bricks in the P and 15 in each of the E and Z). Despite the widespread recognition and popularity of the Pez dispenser, the company considers itself to be primarily a candy company, and over 3 billion candy bricks are consumed each year in the U.S. alone. Pez Dispensers are part of popular culture in many nations. Because of the large number of dispenser designs over the years, they are collected by enthusiasts.
Pez was first marketed as a compressed
peppermint sweet in Vienna, Austria in 1927 by a candy maker named Eduard Haas III. Haas invented peppermints using family owned baking powders, and decided to serve the mints in small, hand-size containers. He manufactured a small tin to hold the mints, similar to the modern Altoids tins. The first Pez mint dispensers, known as "regulars," were similar in shape to a cigarette lighter, and dispensed an adult breath mint marketed as an alternative to smoking. They were invented by Oscar Uxa. Haas Food Manufacturing Corporation of Vienna was the first to sell Pez products. In 1955, the Pez company placed heads on the dispensers and marketed them for children. Santa Claus and Mickey Mouse were among the first character dispensers. Since 1950, over 1500 Pez dispensers, including the original character dispensers, have been created.
ENTER Polly’s World Do you remember your ‘pocket’-size friends from the 90s?
Polly Pocket is a toy line of dolls and accessories.
The name comes from the fact that many of the original Polly Pocket dolls came in pocket-size cases. The original Bluebird dolls were less than one inch tall and made of hard plastic.
