• We educate and empower our employees to take care of their physical and mental health, with internal support from our leading health & safety team that encourage reporting of all incidents and near misses

• We also provide support on psychological safety with helpline support and external organisations such as Mates in Construction

• NZ Construction Alliance fosters equal opportunities in the workplace for all, including training for unconscious bias, and actively encouraging and supporting under-represented groups in the industry

• By hiring locals, supporting regional supply chains, and keeping our businesses locally owned and operated, we ensure that communities benefit directly from our work

• We work with Amotai to access Māori and Pacific supply chains, train our teams to eliminate bias and have a zero-tolerance policy to discrimination

• To fairly remunerate employees through paying the living wage, and provide training and apprenticeship opportunities throughout NZ We support employee’s growth and development through ensuring they can be involved in many different types of projects in the industry .

• To work with renewable energy suppliers wherever practical to deliver lower-cost sustainable energy in Aotearoa .

• To re-use and recycle materials to ensure they don’t end up in landfills, and encourage sustainable building practices – including minimising waste

• NZ Construction Alliance is committed to being carbon neutral with a Toitu certification We are actively working with our partners to reduce CO2 emissions aligned with science-based targets
