Recent coin issues WWII 75 Years - Remembrance The year 2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the end of World War Two. Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games In 1920 the first New Zealand Olympic Team marched under the New Zealand flag in Antwerp, Belgium. Four athletes competed in black singlets with the silver fern emblem hand-sewn over their hearts. The fern continues to inspire New Zealanders of today, as it has done for 100 years. It will do so again, at Tokyo 2020.
