both stamps will be similar to that used for the 1939 Health stamps but new dies and platos will be employed for the printing and the colo~r of the 2q. postage and 1d. Health stamp will be orange instead of red. Tho' stamps are boing pr-oduced by the Note Printing Branch, Commonweal~h Bank of Australia, Melbourne. .

Samoa which arc to be issu6d on the 2nd Septo'tTIber next vere printod by Messrs Bradbury, Wilkinson and Co., England, and overprinted at thq Governmont ~rinting Office, Wellington. The s~Qmps arc in sheets of 80 and the imprint and plate numhors arc in tlh.: centre of the lower selvedge. The plate numbers are:Cook Islands, A1; Niue Ai; Westerp ~amoa 1. 5. Pitcairn Island stamps: The Pitcairn rsland stamps wilL be placed on sale at Pitcairn Island and at Suva, Flji, on the 15th October next. They will not be obtainable from this Office. 6. N£m.spaper wrappers: NoVl ~d. newspapor vlr,appers' Vlore issued in July. NeVl stereos were used on'New Zealand made paper without watermark.
