Requests for Stamps to be Postmarked

Clients requesting stamps to be cancelled at Ross Dependency, Niue, Tokelau and Campbell Islands are reminded that due to the infrequency of mails to these places, some time may elapse before they receive their orders. 5. ÂŁ s. d. and

Issues

We regret that during the past few months some clients have been inconvenienced by the delay in supplying their orders. The Philatelic Bureau was inundated with orders for ÂŁ.s.d. stamps just prior to the change over to decimal currency, and this, coupled with the large demand for decimal currency values, caused delay in forwarding orders. 6. Forthcoming Issues

As notified in Bulletin No. 42, new prints of four of the New Zealand decimal currency stamp issue will be placed on sale early next year. Details of these issues are as under:Denomination 15c and $2

To be reprinted in modified shadings of the existing colours. 10c and 25c To be reissued in new designs It is hoped that the new stamps will be available for release of the 15c and ~2 stamps in January and the 10c and 25c stamps in February. Further information about these stamps will be released as soon as firm delivery dates have been obtained from the printer, but to assist overseas clients, order forms for the new stamps are enclosed with Bulletins sent to overseas addresses. In addition to the above, it is also planned to release in February 1968, a new stamp with a value of 22c. This value matches one of the basic New Zealand overseas airmail rates. The stamp will remain on sale as part of the present definitive issue. The next new stamp in the 1968 programme will be issued in April to commemorate the Centenary of the introduction in New Zealand of the Bible printed in the Maori language. Further information about this issue and an order form will be supplied in the next issue of the Bulletin.
