Opening of the new Emergency Department in the CHPG

On 18 April 2023, H.S.H. Prince Albert II opened the new Emergency Department of the CHPG, which brings together both adult and pediatric services. Since April 6, 2023, adult and pediatric emergency services have been grouped together in a single location in order to improve the clarity of the routes and the quality of the care offered. The new CHPG emergency platform now covers a total area of 750 m2: particular attention has been paid to the comfort of the reception area and the care of patients and their relatives, but also to the working conditions of the teams whose work is recognized as being particularly difficult. This work, which was carried out over a total period of 10 months, was generously financed by Mr. Dmitry Rybolovlev. The new layout of the premises will, as planned, improve the quality of care and of comfort, as well as increasing respect for confidentiality and patient privacy.
