Triumph of the New Zealand pilots at the Monaco E-Prix
On May 6th, the Principality hosted the most ecofriendly race of the season — a Formula E series race. The New Zealand driver Nick Cassidy from the Envision Racing team became the winner, another New Zealander Mitch Evans (Jaguar Racing) took second place, and British driver Jake Dennis (Avalanche Andretti) finished third. Maserati MSG Racing pilot Edoardo Mortara finished twelfth while his teammate Maximilian Günther couldn’t finish the race because of the collision with Dan Tiktum (NIO). The victory in Monaco allowed Nick Cassidy to lead the Formula E championship standings for the first time in his career.
