Plain Mouth Mirror
• This is used to make the perfect image and accurate image of the tooth to be examined. • It gives the exact positioning of the tooth.
Straight probe
• These are sharp and is used to examine cavities in the dentine region. • They are also used to test the margins of restorations or fillings.
Briault probe
• These are sharp and are used to spot the junction between the enamel and dentine. • Briault is particularly used to detect tartar hidden in the gum pockets.
Periodontal probe
• They are used to measure the depth of the gum pockets. • They are also used to do other kind of dental measurements.
Dental Tweezers
•Tweezers are important Dental Lab Equipment, made of non-magnetic stainless steel. • They are designed particularly to hold the tiniest article, provide better grip on the jaw. • Tweezers are used particularly to take and place cotton pellets, wedges and articulation paper from the tray to the mouth and back.
