How to Build a Blanket Fort for your movie night @ home!

1. MOVE THINGS AROUND

Re-arrange your furniture to make enough space for the fort.

2.GET CREATIVE

Use what you have lying around the house. Bring out the coat rack, use clamps and clothes pins, and make use of duct tape. Use your

Christmas lights or fairy lights and hang them around your fort to create an ethereal vibe.

3.CREATE A CANOPY

Use lightweight sheets for the top of your fort, this will ensure that you won’t get too hot as you watch your movie. Heavy blankets can also weigh everything down and possibly cause your fort to collapse.

Make it cozy

Get creative!

4.CLAMPS AND CLOTHESPINS

Use clothespins or clamps to hold your sheets together.

5.HOLD IT ALL TOGETHER

Use throw pillows, bed pillows and/or couch cushions to hold fort walls in place.

6.THE FORTRESS

Use chairs and sides of sofas to drape blankets over.

7. MAKE IT COZY

Encourage the kids to bring their stuffed animals, blankets and toys into the fort for a cozier space.

8.BRING IN THE SNACKS

Get your movie snacks ready and bring them in the fort with you.
