Gorton Theater Gorton Theater Renovation, Gloucester Stage Company,Gloucester, MA Pfeufer Richardson Architects Project Description: A proposal for the renovation and expansion of an existing community theater building. The schedule was very tight, the design, modelling and rendering took place 2 days. The proposal asked for a lot of program in a small footprint with a strengthened connection to the water and to the street. Our design solution was to open the corners at the street and water using glass and structural elements and to raise the roof over the black box theater and add a lighting feature.

Pope & Scott halls Residence Halls Renovation and Addition, Bridgewater State University Bridgewater, Ma Pfeufer Richardson Architects Project Description: “The planned addition and renovations project was conceived as a means to leverage the significant capital improvements required in the existing building - elevators, heating and domestic water system replacements, life safety systems - to reduce the costs of providing much needed new beds on campus. The result is an enlarged foot print and new entry transforming the existing 41,000 square foot building into a 75,000 square foot landmark at this important public campus edge with an additional 176 beds.”-PRA

FSU Parking addition Framingham State University Framingham, Ma Pfeufer Richardson Architects Project Description:

My Role:

“Included among PRA’s ongoing work with Framingham State University for campus improvements is the addition of 120 new parking spaces, nearly doubling the parking capacity on Normal Hill. The new parking spaces, replicating parking relocated from a prime building site in the center of the campus are provided on a terrace and deck, carefully set into a sloping hillside. In addition to providing much needed new parking, the new construction will also improve vehicular circulation on the north side of the FSU Campus. The $4,100,000 project was completed in Sept, 2009. ” -PRA

Ecotopia house Single Family House, Sandwich, MA BAC Special Projects This project was part of the Boston Architectural Colleges Special Project Initiative. A year long design process where one team of students designed a sustainable single-family house, conducted design meetings, construction and precedent research, met with consultants, and had client presentations to bring the design to a Construction Document level. Using a wooden “ribbon” that was both functional and aesthetic, our intention was to create a strong connection between the exterior and the interior spaces, and to make the house feel warm natural materials throughout and large southern facing windows. My role on the project team was the Design Coordinator- requiring me to work collaboratively with my team, consultants, and client to arrive at the best design solutions.

My Role: Phases: Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documents Responsibilities: •

Coordinating collaborative design process from Schematic design through CDs

Managing 8 person team using Revit: Rendering & Construction Documents

Responsible for Coordination & Production of Construction Documents

Responsibilities involving client management, accounting, scheduling, staffing resources

Environmental Analysis and Evaluation of Sustainable Design Features
