There is no need for a lot of different cleaners… This one is truly multi-purpose. On the Household Cleaner bottle there is a chart with different dilution variables for different surfaces.

1 cup baking soda 2 tsp castile soap or Thieves Dish Soap 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide 1 capful Thieves Household Cleaner 8 drops Lemon essential oil 5 drops Thieves essential oil Combine all ingredients and stir into a thin paste. Store in a lidded jar or squeeze top bottle. This cleaner will thicken when exposed to air for a prolonged period of time. Scrub will expand so leave 2-3 inches at the top. Apply the mix on a soft wet sponge and scrub.

Who doesn’t want their home to smell gorgeous? While the obvious solution might be to stock up on air sprays and scented candles, it may not be the best solution...These products are routinely fragranced with carcinogenic chemicals and other harmful toxins which can affect our breathing, our brains and our hormones. Instead, diffusing essential oils is not only pleasing to the senses, it actually purifies the air around us. When essential oils are diffused, the molecules are broken up into micro-fine mist particles. WHY MAKE YOUR OWN PRODUCTS? Many of the mass-market products including Fabric Softener & Dryer Sheets contain mystery mixtures that provide the jolt of fragrance and may contain hundreds of untested chemicals, including toxic ingredients like phthalates and synthetic musks - both suspected hormone disruptors. An easy and effective alternative is to add 1/2 cup Vinegar during the rinse cycle instead of fabric softener and switch to 'Wool Dryer Balls’ rather than Dryer Sheets. Add a couple drops essential oil of your choice to the dryer balls for soft, fluffy, wonderful-smelling laundry.

Shake well before using. Hold a few inches from the hair and spritz at the roots. Then use hair dryer to restyle. Melt beeswax in a double boiler over low heat; then add in the shea butter. When the mixture is melted, add jojoba and stir. Allow to cool slightly, then add essential oils. Pour mixture into a container to solidify. Add a couple drops Lemon essential oil to a spray or your palm and rub on hair to naturally lighten your hair!

Before you begin, you’ll need a small glass spray bottle filled with about 4 Tbsp water, 2 Tbsp witch hazel, and 1 Tbsp jojoba oil. Once you’ve done this, it’s time to add your essential oils. First, these oils are very strong, they should be used in smaller amounts than the others in your spray. Choose one or two of the suggested oils and add 2-4 drops to the mix. Citronella, Lemongrass or Eucalyptus Peppermint –Works against ants, flies, lice, and spiders. Second, these oils tend to have richer, longer-lasting aromas than the ingredients from the first category. Keep in mind that this will be the main ingredient – and thus the main scent in your spray. Choose your favourite or more from the following five suggested oils and add 10–15 drops to the mix. Clove, Lavender or Tea Tree PURIFICATION IS Pine – Works against fleas and ticks. AN OUTDOOR Rosemary – Deters flies away in addition to mosquitoes. ROCKSTAR!. These last oils help to balance out your blend and stabilize the strong-smelling ingredients. Choose one or both essential oils and add 3–6 drops total to top off your spray. Cedarwood Fresh piney fragrance. Patchouli – Deters bed bugs, ants, fleas, and lice in addition to mosquitoes. Strong, smoky and musky scent.
