Brennan McCabe wins logo design contest

The Coastal Association of Realtors is on the verge of introducing an exciting educational opportunity for its members: the Coastal Area Local Specialist Designation. To bring this program to life, the Education Committee proactively reached out to Worcester Technical High School, inviting interested students to submit logo designs for the designation. Among the many wonderful submissions received from all the talented students, Brennan McCabe’s design was selected by the committee to represent the Coastal Area Local

Specialist program.

Brennan, a local student, created the logo as an extension of his career and technology program in Interactive Media at Worcester Technical High School. Throughout the design process, Brennan persevered through multiple rounds of revisions, displaying a commendable level of commitment and determination.

As a sophomore at Stephen Decatur High School, Brennan is concurrently pursuing his second year out of four in the Interactive Media program. This educational back-

ground has equipped him with the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute to real-world projects like designing the logo for Coastal Association’s Coastal Area Local Specialist Designation.

The Coastal Area Local Specialist program will empower individuals with specialized knowledge in various areas, including Condominiums, Financing Specialties, New Construction, Rental Properties, Ocean City and Ocean Pines specific issues, Well & Septic Systems and Issues, Flood Insurance, and Agricultural & Forest

Conservation Land Transfers.

This comprehensive curriculum will foster a community of experts dedicated to the specific needs and challenges of the Eastern Shore areas. By collaborating with talented young individuals like Brennan McCabe, Coastal Association demonstrates its commitment to nurturing emerging local talent.

It’s important to note that once you become a licensed real estate agent in Maryland, you can choose to join the National Association of REALTORS (NAR) and become a REALTOR. It is is not mandatory to practice real estate in Maryland.
