FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Why should I buy my attraction tickets before I depart? There are many reasons why you should buy your tickets before you go, but the main one is to take advantage of exclusive UK rates which are cheaper than if you were to buy on the gate. Many advance tickets allow you to beat the queues, so you’ll be able to walk straight into the park without having to stop at the ticket gate. Plus, buying your passes before you go means you can tick another thing off your to-do list. When will I receive my tickets? Some tickets will be posted around 4 weeks prior to the departure date, depending on which attraction tickets you choose. E-Tickets are uploaded and emailed via Manage My Booking 7-14 days before your departure date. How do I get between the parks? There are many theme parks and attractions spread across Central Florida. It’s best to hire a car if you want to explore them all but remember there may be a daily charge for parking. If you don’t want to drive, you can get an Uber or a cab from your accommodation to all the theme parks, alternatively, some hotels offer shuttle transportation. Are the parades and evening fireworks included in my ticket? Normally the parades and evening celebrations come inclusive with your tickets. If there is a special event scheduled, like Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights, then you may have to pay extra if you wish to attend. We advise to check the theme park’s website for further details or give us a call to buy any extra tickets for these special events. Can I leave a theme park and return the same day? Depending on the ticket you choose, you’ll be allowed to hop between the parks within a resort. Feel free to come and go as you please or to return to your favourite park as much as you like. It’s best to double check the terms associated with your ticket to avoid disappointment. Can I take food into the theme parks? Different parks have different rules so it’s best to check each individual park website for their policy. Most parks will let you bring a few bottles of water and some snacks into the parks. Plus, if you have special dietary requirements, you’ll be able to bring items with you. We advise against bringing large coolers and picnic hampers as they will not be allowed into the parks. What shall I wear to the parks? Expect to be doing a lot of walking, the theme parks are huge and there’s lots to explore. Plus, it tends to be warm, especially in the summer months. We suggest bringing trainers, shorts, T-shirt and a hat or something that you feel comfortable in. If you’re planning to go on the water rides, it might be worth bringing a change of clothes, as you may get wet. How do I get a pass to skip the queues? Queue passes are a great way to experience the attractions without having to wait in line. Passes can be bought on the day or before you go, depending on the theme park. Walt Disney World Resort If you’re visiting Walt Disney World Resort you can make your FastPass+ reservations 30 days in advance, or if you’re staying on resort, you can make your reservations up to 60 days prior. Do I need to bring ID into the parks? ID may be required when entering the parks and when purchasing alcohol with your lunch or dinner in one of the restaurants. We suggest bringing some form of ID, just in case. Can I use my credit card in the parks? Credit cards are widely accepted throughout the theme parks including shops and restaurants. You’ll also find ATMs dotted in the resorts if you wish to withdraw cash. Check with your bank if charges will apply. Are selfie sticks allowed into the parks? Due to safety reasons, selfie sticks are not permitted in any of the parks. Although, you will find great photo spots and photographers throughout the parks. Is smoking permitted in the parks? Smoking is generally not allowed in the parks; however, some parks have at least one designated smoking area. What days are the theme parks open? The theme parks are open 365 days a year and will only close if there is severe weather, or if a park reaches full capacity. Opening times vary throughout the year so it’s best to check before you visit. When is the best time to visit Orlando? You can visit Orlando all year round, thanks to the warm climate. Florida does have a hurricane season from June to November, but it is very rare to experience adverse weather. The summer months are generally the hottest and busiest as it’s the school holidays. It’s normally quieter and cooler in the autumn, making it more comfortable to explore the theme parks.
