In order to ensure the best outcome of your product, please double check the following prior to submission.
All artwork, text and images placed on the "Place Artwork Here" Layer will print on the disc label. All process white within the printable area will knock out to the disc’s silver without a white background. Clearly indicate if you would like a white background. When submitting files for production please include all fonts (including those in placed images), and links listed in the Links window. Incomplete submissions are subject to rejection. Type Size & Ruling: For maximum readability, submitted files must conform to the following: - Minimum type size for positive printing is 5 points (1.75mm or 0.069"). - Minimum type size for reverse and knockout printing is 6 points (2.1mm or 0.083"). - Minimum type size for a knockout in 4-color process printing is 6.5 points (2.3mm or 0.090"). - Minimum type size stroke width as well as rule or line width is 1 point (.35mm or 0.014"). Colors: Please remove all extraneous colors from the file leaving only those colors that will be used in the final printing process. Screenprinting can reproduce any color from the "Pantone Color Formula Guide 1000" as well as the "Pantone Metallic, Fluorescent, and Pastel Color Guides." (Coated colors only.) Screenprinting can use up to 6 colors, optionally including a white background. Sonopress specifications for screenprinting require that the halftone dot percentage be restricted to values between 15% and 90%. Designs which make use of tone values outside this range may affect printability and produce less than desired results. Offset printing can reproduce all tone values. Offset printing uses the four process colors, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black and can add a final overprint of clear lacquer or any screenprinted kicker plate. Offset disc printing can use a total of up to six colors, including a screenprinted background. White background: A solid white background is recommended to achieve more brilliant colors, especially with four color process printing. You should include the background in your digital file unless it is a standard size. A standard white background can be provided for you on request with inside diameter 23mm and outside diameter 116mm. (Other standard sizes for white backgrounds include 36mm-116mm and 45mm-116mm.)
