ANGELS & GURUS YOGA STUDIO & ART CAFE

Angels and Gurus Kundalini Yoga Studio & Art Cafe is a collective of locally produced handmade goods including the studio’s own handmade gemstone jewelry. Arrowood Golf Course

Designed by prominent local architect Ted Robinson Jr, the Arrowood golf course is a par-71, 6,721-yard layout embedded in the Arrowood community. Bordered by undeveloped, riparian habitat, the course feels of natural seclusion. While the open spaces instill relaxation, four sets of tees ensure a golf test to suit any skill level. The greens are a blend of Poa-annua and Bermuda grass, firm and fast. At one instance, the player is invited to swing away, while the next shot may bring elevation changes, strategic bunkering or a stern breeze. The ocean breeze will wake you up later in the morning and on into the afternoon. It typically peaks when you get to the more difficult part of the round, the final four holes, also known as The Quandary.

Beach Break Cafe

Started in 1988 by Gary and Zell Dwelley, Beach Break Cafe has established itself as an essential part of the Oceanside community. Located off the historic 101 Highway, this surf-inspired diner serves American fare with a California twist. People taking a break from the beach, or those who want a pre-ocean meal, flock here for the moist, cinnamon-laced coffee cake drizzled with frosting or the giant and inventive four-egg omelets and scrambles. Cynthia’s Artistic Expressions is a family-owned art gallery and studio founded by two Gulf War Navy veterans, Cynthia and W.B. The studio was created to show how art can be used as a form of expression, to release stress, and to increase mental and emotional health. As a U.S. Navy Medic, Cynthia learned to use art therapeutically to help with mental, emotional and pain symptoms and has personally watched and experienced the positive changes that art can bring. W.B., having served in the U.S. Navy during the Persian Gulf War, used art to successfully manage his PTSD symptoms. A self-taught artist, W.
