Regent Seven Seas Ship Visit – Seven Seas Voyager When I got invited to go on a Regent Seven Seas ship visit, I didn’t hesitate to say yes! Having known about Regent Seven Seas and booking their cruises since I started in travel 18 years ago, I knew I couldn’t miss a chance to have a look at one of their ships! Regent Seven Seas is a Luxury, All Inclusive Cruise line, which is clearly obvious as soon as you step onboard. The gross tonnage of the Voyager is 42,363 and accommodates for 700 guests onboard, a different vessel this size would probably accommodate for double that amount, so you can imagine the space which is available to everybody onboard. Everything (except casino, onboard shops and Spa) are included within the price you have paid, so your gratuities, excursions, drinks even speciality restaurants are included! I was offered a glass of champagne and met up with other members of my group to be shown around the ship. The first stop was the theatre which was split onto two levels. It was a very good size, and seats were extremely comfortable! We were then shown to the main dining room “Compass Rose” There are no set times to dine in the evening, you can dine anytime between the hours of 18:30-21:30, or if you have had a busy day on an excursion you can choose to dine in your stateroom, and you can order off the menu from the Compass Rose, and each course will be served to you separately in the comfort of your own stateroom! For those who want something a little different Regent offer 3 different speciality restaurants, you can choose from French Cuisine, Prime 7 (American Grill) or Sette Mari (Italian) again no surcharge its all included, however a reservation would be required. We then went to see the variety of lounges they had to offer. There is definitely something for everyone, you could choose to have drinks outside at the aft of ship, looking out to sea, or relaxing listening to the piano being played whilst enjoying predinner drinks! Our next stop was something we couldn’t wait to see – The staterooms! With Regent, their lowest grade of stateroom is a Veranda Suite, and they go all the way up to a Master Suite! So no matter which stateroom you go for, you know you are going to get something special! As the ship only accommodates half the amount of guests for its size, this means that your stateroom is going to be very spacious. No matter what category you book, when you arrive into your stateroom, there will be a bottle of champagne and glasses waiting for you! It was lovely to see the detail spent on each stateroom, very spacious including the balcony, with each balcony having table and chairs for your comfort. One Suite even had a Jacuzzi on its balcony, with blinds around it for your own privacy! As the sun was shining, there was still time to check out the top deck and see what the outdoor facilities were like! Outside you can enjoy your time relaxing by the pool on the many sun-beds they had to offer, each had its own Regent towel which covered
the entire cushion of the bed! If you wanted, you could have a game of mini golf or try a game of croquet! I was very impressed with everything The Voyager had to offer its guests onboard. The attention to details is amazing, and they have really thought about what they feel their guests want. Nothing it seems is too much trouble. Not only did it offer Luxury it also offered value for money for what you are getting,
