兩年前一段與老師的對話中 ... 「成長環境給予的，是別人偷不走也學不會的 !」老師說到。 這句話，引響了我很深很深，從設計到攝影，所有的想法因為這 句話，全部改變。 我便開始思考甚麼是環境給我的影響，" 紀錄 " 成了我探索土地 的方式，" 攝影 " 成了我述說土地故事的媒介，每一天每一天， 到現在我仍深深的被那句話影響著。 Two yea r s ago, in a co n ve rsation wit h a teac h e r. . .
"The environment in which you grow up gives you something that others ca nnot steal or l earn! "T h e teac h e r said.

I started to think about what is the influence of the environment to me,

「拆除，是屏東給西市場的最後定奪。」 印象中，西市場拆除好像已經是好幾年的事了，直到前陣子看到政府發的拆除公文，才 真正的相信，這已是一件白紙黑紙定下的事。 消費型態的改變，使傳統市場的地位改變，逐漸消逝於時代洪流之中。 第一次，有一個建築的消逝，讓我感到遺憾，慶幸的是，最近常常去市場裡用相機紀錄 下一切，一切在西市場中看到的、感受到的，每次在那特殊的結構量體下，格外平靜， 這份平凡的平靜，未來卻只能在腦海裡回憶。 "T h e demol itio n is the f in al de c ision g ive n by P in g tun g to t h e W e st M a r ket ." 市 場， 是 個 逐 漸 被 時 代 洪 流 沖 刷 的
場 域， 消 費 型 態 的 改 變， 使 得 西 市 場逐漸消逝於每個屏東人的心中。
現 今 的 西 市 場， 成 了 都 市 病 患， 那 種 人 與 人 交 流、 情 感 匯 聚 的 場 域， 逐 漸 成 為 時 代 進 步 下 的 犧 牲 者， 因 市 場 內 的 攤 販 種 類 多 元， 使 的 建 築 架 構 下 交 雜 著 許 多 氣 味， 現 在 的 西 市場只剩 30 多個攤位，一樓也只剩
前 面 有 攤 位 有 在 營 業， 後 方 攤 位 漸 漸地將雜物往走廊堆積。

市場，對於大多數的人來說，可能只是買取食 材、民生用品的地方，對我來說，市場給了我
人與人之間溫暖的認知，市場的存在，在我眼 裡，那是一個城市中，凝聚熱情與情感的生活 場域。
一個即將走向消逝的建築體，每一次踏進西市
場，都是滿滿的可惜，因此，我希望用自己微
微的力量，用著擅長的方式，將心中最美麗的 市場給紀錄下來。
