THE CONCEPT Corporate Team Building through tasting and Cooking What a Delicious Idea! Team building through cooking and tasting is an alternative to rope climbing, golf outings and treasure hunts. It is an enjoyable opportunity to bring together employees from various departments in your organization, create an experience for them to meet and to work together as a team, by producing immediate and tangible results. Food & wine have always been a perfect way to bring people together. By cooking, drinking and eating together, teams can discover the ingredients for successful and effective performance. For example, if the goal is to work on problem-solving skills, participants could be given all of the ingredients for a recipe, but not all of the instructions. However, most groups prefer more loosely structured sessions for groups that want to spend time together and have fun.

The pleasure of Tasting, the exhilarating world of Casinos, the satisfaction of learning while having fun… In the world of business it is necessary to have some luck, but as with everything else you need to seek for it. It is necessary to take risks, understand the rules of the game and play as a team and bet. Their intuition, instincts and know-how will guide them to seek for success.

Each team is provided with some chips to allow them to play throughout animation, as real money must not circulate. Each team will have to manage their budget to bet and take decisions with more or less risk, as a team or as individuals, depending on their strategy and the financial situation of the other teams. The Game varies upon the number of game tables, duration and number of participants. Wine Tasting Game, Chocolate Game, Aromas Game, Cheese tasting Game, Color Game… Location: All over Spain. The Wine Blending Game Be a wine maker for one day Do you want to try making your own wine? Be a wine maker and take the right decisions with your team. Should you oak the wine, what is the right coupage, etc. This is the right team building for team work and/or product launch planning, or just for having fun with your friends or colleagues. It is said you learn more while playing, so... Play, have fun and learn! Make your own wine is a guided trip to this new world where you will touch, smell, and learn how to make your own wine. During the activity we will do: - Wine tasting introduction - Aromas workshop (train your nose) - Make your own wine (labeling and bottling where available) - Blind wine tasting Location: All over Spain. The Chocolate Game A delicious alternative or complement to our Wine Game Taste, learn, enjoy and create… will you be able to resist yourself to the Food of the Gods? Chocolate or cocoa? Do you know why these two concepts? What is the difference between the diverse types of chocolate? What is a variety of cocoa? Are you able to smell their different aromas? Do you dare creating a piece of chocolate in 15 minutes? This is the right team building for team work and/or product launch planning, or just for having fun with your friends or colleagues. Try this fun game that will allow you to enhance your teamwork dynamics while improving a nice and pleasant competing atmosphere. During the activity we will do: The origins: introduction to chocolate tasting and its different cocoa varieties. By teams: Aromas game: the cocoa types smell different depending on the soil they come from; can you guess them? Create your own chocolate piece with fillings and flavors. Location: All over Spain. Wine & tapas scavenger hunt in Barcelona Are you a fan of wine & tapas? Then you will surely appreciate our game which is an ideal fun activity for corporate events or groups of friends. With the philosophy of “Castellers” (human towers) each team will have to defend its team and name. Each of the competing teams receives a set of instructions and a treasure map of Barcelona. The goal is to visit the designated bars & meeting points and meet there the “Food personality” who will assign them with a task. That will of course include wine or tapas tasting. After completing the task and the tasting, the team goes to the next test/stop. An activity designed to test the gastronomic skills, team work and knowledge of the participants. Don't miss this exiting ride past the most outstanding places in Barcelona including the gothic quarter as it's a fun way to discover the history and culture of Barcelona.

To ensure the group does not get lost and to maintain the smooth running of the whole process, an emergency number is provided. On the other line there is a person equipped not only with the different questions for the game, but also cheat options, but beware - these carry a penalty! The activities are: • Answering some general knowledge and cryptic questions. • Overcoming various language problems, like finding out the Spanish names for the tapas given in English. • Scavenging - bringing back requested items. • Blind tasting of different products: Tapas blind tasting: croquettes, bombs... The goal is to visit the designated bars & meeting points and meet there the “Food personality” who will assign them with a task. That will of course include blind tastings, skill or cultural tests,... An activity designed to test the skills, team work and knowledge of the participants. Paella Cooking Roll up your sleeves and make wonderful homemade paella! Paella is the most famous authentic national dish of Spain. Come and learn how to prepare this wonderful and tasty meal. The group will be divided in teams that will have to make the paella following the instructions of the recipe and led by the gastronomes that will be helping and supporting. During the cooking activity tapas and drinks will be serve to give you strength for the contest. Once the paellas are finished, they will be blind tasted and judged on different criteria by the master gastronome or chef. Will you be able to taste your paella? Certainly! Once the activity is finished and the winner team is announced, you will enjoy a full meal (lunch or dinner) sitting on the restaurant consisting on: 5 tapas while cooking: Shrimp / Croquetes / Calamari / Ham and bravas (potatoes) *** The paella made by the participants Salad *** Dessert (crème bruleé) *** Sangria or beer or soft drink during the activity, wine and bottled still water and coffee during the meal. A Paella with a Michelin star? Teambuilding activity It is well known the great recognition that paella has worldwide, but… can Paella apply for a Michelin Star? Today we are proposing you to imagine, create, cook, get agreements with your colleagues and even invent; but above all... enjoy! A new activity around this famous dish that admits as many ingredients and variations as you can imagine. Will your paella be the winner of the so coveted Michelin Star? The group will be divided in teams with the objective of winning a Michelin star for the restaurant they represent with the best paella out of the three different recipes given, and of course the ingredients. The teams will not only have to make the best paella in terms of flavor, smell, texture and presentation but also put a huge effort in promoting their restaurant in a visual and auditory way. The service will be also essential in order to culminate the process. The inventiveness, creativity, capacity to teamwork and making decisions will be highly valued by our jury. Once the winner team is declared and nerves are gone, the whole group will be seated at the dining tables to enjoy a selection of tapas, the paella, a main dish and desert, all with drinks. We will make a toast for the winners and will cheer the rest of the teams. Locations: Barcelona city in different restaurants at the Marina. Check prices and conditions to do it in other locations. Gastronomic Team Building / Competition An activity designed to test the gastronomic skills and knowledge of the participants. The group will be divided in several teams that will compete with each other. Each team will have to do different workshops and tests, in order to score for the winning place. The activities are 30 minutes long and they consist on: a formative activity and a blind tasting and / or a game to score points. The groups will participate simultaneously by turns in the different activities. The acquired knowledge during these activities will allow each team to confront with the other ones. The Activities are: The intuition: wine tasting workshop (Formative), a blind wine tasting and a wine quiz (Leisure activity – Competitive). The tasting memory: cheese workshop (Formative), a blind cheese tasting and a cheese game (Leisure activity – Competitive). In search of the Lost Sense: Aromas workshop (Formative) and a blind aromas test (Leisure activity – Competitive). Chocolate hunt: chocolate workshop (Formative) and a blind chocolate test (Leisure activity – Competitive). Optional: Hell Kitchen: Tapas challenge, the basics of tapas. During the whole time the participants will learn, taste and take part into work-groups, so that everyone should meet everybody, while enjoying a gourmet experience. Location: All over Spain. Wine scavenger hunt in a Winery Are you a fan of Wine and Wineries? Do you remember those fun fairs in the countryside? How about those scavenger hunts you did in the summer camps when you were a child? Join us on our Wine Scavenger hunt -where you can go back to the past, recover that happy and easygoing competitive spirit, while you learn or reaffirm your knowledge about Wine and the wonderful world of the wineries-. This activity is especially designed for corporate events or groups of friends: it will reinforce your ties and bonds, you will disconnect from routine and, above all… you will have fun!

We can start visiting the winery (optional), where you will receive extended and interesting explanations about its history, its wines and cavas and… attention! You may obtain information that might be useful to sum up points in the tests of the scavenger. The scavenger will have 5-6 tests/tasks/activities, all of them in teamwork, which may consist of: - Blind test of aromas and/or colors of the Wine - Inside the winery: tests emulating the former Wine makers’ tasks… it looks easy but… can you do it with time limit? Cava Challenge Which is really better, Cava or Champagne? Champagne is a sparkling wine made in the Champagne region of France according to the traditional champagne method. Cava is a sparkling wine made in Spain according to the traditional champagne method. So, what are their differences? Which one do you like better? During this activity you will learn their history, methods of production, different soil types used, the various grapes used, aging processes and most important: their differences in terms of taste, aromas and structure. The experience will be hosted by an experienced specialist who will guide you through the different characteristics these wines have. After the workshop we will do a blind tasting of different cavas and champagnes to test our knowledge. You will taste 2 different cavas and 2 different champagnes. Location: All over Spain.
