From twin V8 powered tractors, fourwheel boats to anything resembling a creation form the Mad Max movie set, it all seems to end up cruising the strip with a heap of people hanging off having a laugh. Friday is a cruise day for those who have already settled in. It’s a chance to jump in for a convoy out to a beautiful river reserve in the Ashley gorge, park up for lunch and enjoy chilling out amongst some cool rides, meet more cool people and just get amongst the vibe really. Upon arriving back at the Rangiora Domain Friday afternoon, you instantly know the party has already started. Friday night and the hall starts up after dinner, live bands kick off to entertain and the cruising strip is bumper to bumper with hot rods, classic muscle cars, rat rods and whatever creation can be driven around really. Camp sites turn into party zones with everyone catching up and the atmosphere of being at Muscle Car Madness is now in full swing, and it’s awesome! This truly is a one-of-a-kind event catering for rev heads who love the scene. The two days to chill out or build up to the actual weekend events is super cool because come Saturday, it’s ALL GO!
