Yep, twenty-one years this awesome event has been going now and it has grown from a little Rock n’ Roll weekend to almost a weeks worth of awesome car shows, live bands, Rock ‘n Roll and dancing! Noddy Watts is the man behind the scenes here along with a team of awesome volunteers putting this massive event together. The logistics of running this is way more than a few pages long now with all the cruising to different towns, closing streets, organising bands and entertainment and generally just keeping things running on the fly with whatever the weather throws at them. Saturday is the BIG day here. This is the full-on ‘Show Day’ with shows spread out all around town. Ranging from pre 49 Hot Rods, Classics, Retro Caravans to Ultimate Pass Entries on show in the main street of Whangamata. The day kicks off with entrants parading through town to their separate show
