MAKE/MODEL: 1932 Ford Sport Coupe

COLOUR: Octane – Ford performance colour

ENGINE: 509ci Chevrolet based, Hand built one-off Shafiroff Racing full aluminium engine built in New York, USA

It produces 550hp and 609 Ft pounds of torque with a forged steel crank and H beam rods. Ceramic coated Forged aluminium pistons, competition cams with roller rockers.

The engine is an actually copy of the 409 W engine first produced in 1961

TRANSMISSION: Good ole Manual Tremac 5 speed close ratio gearbox with a 0.84 over drive

DIFF: Jaguar LSD diff with 3.25 gear set

SUSPENSION: The Rear is Triangulated diff mounts to ride adjustable shocks with the front being a Heidt’s set up with tubular A arms. Anti-roll bars and coil over shock absorbers.

The chassis has been fully boxed with tubular K bracing incorporating the drive shaft loop and gear box mounts.

BRAKES: Up front is the four pot Wilwood callipers to 11” vented Discs. With the Jaguar disc brake set up on the rear

INTERIOR: Full custom upholstery with custom built seats in Chocolate leather and saddle stitching colour coded to match the BMW Beige fabric roof. The stock height removable soft top roof is actually double sided fabric over a rubber inner to look the same on the inside and out with the actual roof being waterproof for every day driving.

The creature comforts include the modern stereo and electric windows for cruising comfort.

The original features of the Cowl vent, Cowl lamps, opening adjustable windscreen, Landau bars and dickie seat in the trunk are all in working condition and awesome features to this cool-as rare coupe.

The steering column is an adjustable Iditit column which works awesome for both Geoff and Jan driving this.

The dash cluster matching the era are Dolphin gauges bringing back the 30’s fashion into the build.

MODS: The only real body mod here is the rare panel to include a larger fuel tank to feed that staunch 509!
