It all kicks off before sunrise with the streets leading into the Manfeild Park Stadium filling with traders waiting to get in and the show cars sneaking in the side gate to enter the hall and set up inside. As you can imagine after this many years, they have got it pretty organised now so everything flows pretty quick when the gates open. Outside the hall around two hundred traders set up with all sorts of automania in the swap meet area. Unlike most meets this event is only for auto parts and associated goodies for the cave, so apart from the compulsory coffee truck to warm the cockles its pretty cool to wander about and see what goodies people have had hidden away.
