Novel Binuclear Ruthenium Complex Research Project

Norfolk, VA May 11-Aug 11 Old Dominion University Spring 2016  Collaborated with one classmate under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Alvin Holder and his graduate assistants to synthesize and characterize a novel Ruthenium complex as a catalyst with the potential to reduce H+ to H2 in aqueous solution for the purpose of sustainable and renewable energy.  The data collected was analyzed and presented in a report presentation to show the potential of the novel complex in its future uses.
