(BA) Human Resource Management University of Greenwich Creating Learners, Changing Lives
Faculty and Staff, Ladies and Gentlemen, Fellow Graduands, Good Evening! I am honored to be representing the graduating class of 2011 from the University of Greenwich. This evening we have gathered to celebrate a defining moment in our lives; we have reached the end of a remarkable journey, though we faced various challenges. Throughout this journey we have learned, laughed, matured and built everlasting relationships. I could remember leaving SBCS with my classmates 11, 12 at night and returning at 7 the next morning either to get an assignment completed or to prepare for

Nikitia M Khan a final exam. I could still hear Mr Ramsaroop saying, “girl, like u living here?” But as Benjamin Franklin once said “An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.” Though it is sad and we have to leave this all behind, we look forward to venture into the world with our newly acquired qualifications and to pursue our respective passions and dreams. We can stand assured that due to the high standard of education received from a prestigious University such as the University of Greenwich we are now equipped with knowledge, confidence and ethics both professionally and personally, these can only add to successes in our lives. Thank you SBCS for affording us with the opportunity to study with such a highly acclaimed University. I would also like to take this opportunity to personally thank my lecturers and the University’s course administrators as well as the administrative staff of SBCS for their high degree of professionalism, mentoring, coaching and dedication. To our friends and family, thank you for your tremendous motivation and counselling, love and support. You have all played an instrumental part in our success, and without you, today would not have been possible. To my loving mom, dad, bf and brother, thank you for constantly encouraging me to persevere and for being patient and understanding. Above all, SBCS creates learners. The analytical and strategic thinking skills which are now second nature to all of us are due to the constant demands of our lecturers who would accept nothing but the best. These skills will without a doubt increase the quality of our lives as they are the main elements of learning that will facilitate our success. This evening, in just a couple of minutes our dreams of obtaining a bachelor’s degree are about to come true. Our long nights, endless assignments and preparations for final exams are finally over. Enjoy this moment, enjoy tonight, and enjoy all the great things that they will bring your way, in your many new, and victorious journeys. As Orrin
