SHARON HERNANDEZ-MORALES

My love for interior design grew when I watched HGTV. I enjoyed watching old houses being transformed into their full potential. I took my first class in Jenior year, and continued on to Senior year. Next year I will be attending JCCC where I will cover my GED’s and take some additional design classes. The goal is to transfer once I receive my liberal arts degree. I will be focusing full time on this career and I will be enhancing my skills as a designer alongside other alumni at SCAD. In this issue, I included projects I completed in the 2023 academic year.

OVERVIEW OF THIS YEAR:

7+ hours of engagement

More than 7+ hours invested on designing rooms, creating boards, research, and presenting [preparation].

4 skills learned

This semester I learned valuable stuff about interior design while also learning about myself. I learned how to present my ideas, how to work with clients, how to create visually aesthetic boards, and I also got practice choosing materials. Plus, I got inspired by the amazing spaces designed by my classmates.
