Welcome Congratulations! You have landed at the very first edition of Planet Oedipus! The atmosphere is quite pleasant here and adjusting should be smooth. In the middle of this lush terrain we have gathered a fantastic and flavorful line up for you. The earthly rules do not apply, so go out and explore! When we, Alex, Paul, Sander and Rick, started Oedipus six years ago, we brewed beer on pots and pans in Sander’s tiny kitchen. From that very first start it has always been our mission to make quality beer available and appealing to


everyone. But never could we have imagined this: that someday we would be here, bringing our entire world of beer, people, music and food together, at our very own festival. Where like-minded people can enjoy the beauty and diversity of craft beer. Where we welcome local home brewers as well as international heroes. Where you can find delicious brews, try local food specialties and enlighten yourself with exotic beats coming from the music stage. The journey of Oedipus and our beers has always been wild and wonderful, and we are happy to now open the gates to our universe and share all of it with you! BREWERS: Between The Burrs x Stadsbranderij Noord Good coffee is not a luxury, it is essential! On the menu: Coffee, iced coffee, tea, bananaanana bread and date bars.

De IJsmakerij They make ice cream! Using only biological and fresh ingredients, their ice creams are sweet, sweet taste bombs. On the menu: Stout beer ice cream, chocolate ice cream with salted caramel and rosemary, lemon-verbena sorbet and raspberry-hibiscus sorbet.

De Tuin van Eten Delicious fresh vegetarian snacks! On the menu : Special mini-burgers, veggie-quiche, snack balls with dips and salads straight from their own vegetable garden.

Roze Bunker Syrups made with fresh fruits and spices. Compact taste explosions, just add water for a fruity refresher. On the menu: spicy Citrus Basilicum, exotic Raspberry Laos and hoppy Ice Tea IPA.


Stroop Stroop is serving Planet Oedipus with delightful tastes from all over the planet. On the menu: Homemade tortilla chips with avocado and chili dip, beef bitterballs by Van Dobben and vegetaran bitterballs by Chef Thor.

IwantChicken Makes fried chicken. Yes. All of them fried chickens. Various styles inspired by the internationals kitchens. On the menu: Soy Garlic Fried Chicken, Suri Fried Chicken, Sweet ‘n Spicy Fried Chicken.

Oh Na Mi Kimchi Oh now wow they made kimchi and other Korean inspired delicacies. On the menu: Kimchi fried rice bowls, Korean beer snacks and lots of kimchi to go go go.

Brandt en Levie The best culinary sausages from sweet Dutch pigs. On the menu: Different dogs such as the chili dog with chili con carne and the classic dog with sauerkraut.

Brouwbrood Tasty bread made with beer brewers spent grains, namely Oedipus beer grains! Delish. On the menu: Bread snacks with dips, beer grain cookies and good ol’ sandwiches.

The Beef Chief Our trusty chief rolled in to provide us with some juicy burgers. On the menu: Burgers, duh! Including their ever faithful kimchi burger in a pimped version with bacon.

Guided Tours

Are you lost? Are you baffled by all the overwhelming beer choices? Do you love beer, but only if it’s barrel aged? Want to intensify your festival experience? Or do you know everything about beer and want to challenge our tastemasters to a geek-off? During Planet Oedipus we offer guided tours with different themes. Find the one most suitable for you and join in! Bring 5 coins and gather at the Oedipus bar to meet with our tour guides Bas and Carl about 10 minutes before the tour starts. Note there is a limited capacity of 15 people per tour, so be quick quick!
