Our youth and family hostel with 150 beds is situated in the immediate vicinity of the AlpenAdria-University, in the middle of the recreation area Wรถrthersee and the Europa Park, in the west of the sunny city of Klagenfurt. The short distance to downtown, the neighbourhood to Minimundus, Planetarium and reptile zoo and lots of sports, leisure and cultural opportunities in the environment emphasize the attractiveness of the location.

Facilities:

All our rooms consist of bedroom, anteroom, bathroom with shower and toilet and are mostly equipped with 4 or 6 beds. We also offer 7 double rooms, which are equipped with flat screen TV and little extras. Depending on your needs and our capacity you can book dormitories for up to 6 persons. The rooms can also be booked as single or double rooms. There are also two wheelchair-accessible rooms on the ground floor. Furthermore, the youth and family hostel offers a large auditorium, several seminar rooms and lounges with conference equipment, a gallery, a multi-functional dining room and TV room with satellite TV. There are also enough rooms for your evening activities available. Benches and a pavilion invite you to spend time outside. Free WIFI access in the lobby is available to our guests.

Our youth and family hostel with its 135 beds is located in the Villach neighbourhood St. Martin, nearby a number of sports and recreation facilities and only 20 minutes driving distance away from Italy and Slovenia.

Each room has its own anteroom and shower/toilet. In the basement and ground floor there are a number of leisure facilities such as sauna (extra charge), TV room, table tennis and our own new climbing hall.

Our youth and family hostel Cap Wörth with its 300 beds, is situated right next to the Wörthersee and offers everything you need for a relaxing and varied holiday: beach, sunbathing lawn, winter and summer sport facilities, park, forest and a lot more… It´s only half an hour distance to skiing and mountain climbing areas in Italy, Slovenia and Austria. Our hostel for all seasons is ideal for vacation, recreation, summer and winter sports, as well as holding seminars and training courses. All floors are accessible by lift.

Our hostel welcomes you to Hohe Tauern National Park. It offers 94 beds and is situated directly on the ski slopes at the feet of the 3797 m high Mount Großglockner, right next to the village´s famous church at a height of 1300 m.

Facilities:

We offer spacious, comfortable rooms, also for families, and most of them are equipped with shower and toilet. Two large common rooms with sunbathing balcony, family corners, satellite TV and an internet-terminal are available for our guests. We also offer a bike shelter and in winter a heated room for your skis and ski shoes. We have our own parking. Free WIFI Internet is available to our guests in the lobby. Our team will be glad to help you organize your leisure time. Furthermore, there is a close cooperation with the National Park Service which offers special project weeks for school and youth groups. Mountain climbing, hiking, experiencing nature in an enchanting alpine mountain region, observing animals, trekking tours and daily or weekly programs are just some of the appealing activities from spring to autumn.

Our hostel:

The hostel for cyclists, situated at the Danube Bikeway („Donauradweg“) in the centre of Krems, offers beds for 52 guests. There is a lockable garage for the cycles. If a group consists of 10 people minimum, there is the possibility of preordering lunch or dinner, even vegetarian if necessary. In the evening, you can relax in the garden or have a barbecue. Krems/Danube is an amazing city, situated in the heart of the Wachau – Nibelungengau. A lot of tourists visit Krems because of the huge number of historical buildings and the numerous events all over the year. The building is situated beneath a pond in the area of Gmünd. Marshes, ponds, “Wackelsteine” and nature parks are the highlights of the northern Waldviertel. Numerous possibilities for going on a ramble in the wood around the hostel offer relaxation and contact with nature. The building contains 37 beds and is one of the most cosy hostels. The rooms are perfectly suitable for seminars, holidays or a school trip. There is a huge common room with table soccer and table tennis, a full equipped seminar room with blackboard, a big pitch with goals and basketball basket and a barbecue place. Due to the proximity to the border, a short trip to the Czech Republic is also a good possibility to explore the region. For activities in the evening there is a huge barbecue place. The “Blockheide Naturparks”, “Naturlehrpfade” and many more are situated in the northern Waldviertel. This region is also famous for the art of glass blowing, so you can watch a glass blower at work. The “Bauernhausmuseum” and the “Schulmuseum” are recommendable alternatives, if there is a rainy day during your stay. An information folder for planning school trips can be ordered at the Lower Austrian secretariat.

The hostel is situated on the 4th floor on the eastern side of the new and modern main railway station. St. Pölten, capital of Lower Austria and oldest city of Austria, is the perfect destination for all ages. It does not matter if you visit the amazing historic city centre with its magnificent baroque and Art Nouveau buildings or the government quarter with beautiful contemporary Austrian architecture – you always have the feeling of discovering true treasures. In the last few years St. Pölten has been host city of two well known festivals, the legendary FREQUENCY-Festival and the BEATPATROL-Festival.

The hostel offers 51 beds in 12 rooms, all equipped with an anteroom, shower and toilet. Depending on your needs and our capacity it is possible to offer single bed rooms too. Located at the foot of Hill Annaberg, off the main road, the hostel offers 54 beds, mostly with shower / toilet on the floor, 3 large newly fitted lounges, private disco room, table tennis, large dining room, fireplace and small open space next to the house.

Winter: The ski resort Annaberg offers perfect opportunities for beginners, more advanced and pro-

fessional sportspersons. Off the beaten tourist track with crowded pistes and long waits at the lifts Annaberg has more than 20 km of pistes with 9 lifts which guaranties pure joy of skiing and snowboarding. On site there are many skiing-schools, ski-rentals and very nice ski-lodges, where you can enjoy a hot tea or other local specialties. Or do you want to do a mountain-tour? The FIS-checked hillsides are perfect fits for this adventure. The 10 km cross country ski track is only 2 minutes away from the hostel and offers beginners and advanced persons a lot of variety. The best way to finish the day is a relaxing evening in the Sauna or a cool drink direct at the fireplace at the snow-bar.

Summer:

Our hostel is located in the green countryside and is surrounded by flowery meadows, offering much space for your outdoor activities. They are popular with trainers and teachers for their seminars and teambuilding activities. The woods, the wood-cinema and the climbing wall offer a lot of variety for all ages and are nearby the hostel. Enjoy the sunset with your family or your group at the fireplace or with a slice of fresh pizza, made in our own clay oven. There are so many possibilities to have a nice evening. You can book your private hours in the Sauna for example. Hiking is one of the main reasons to visit Annaberg in summer. There’s a wide range of different tours. A “must see” are the “Ötschergräben” in the national nature park “Ötscher-Tormäuer”. Our staff gives you the best advice for your trip, just ask.

The newly renovated hostel is located at the area of the cultural center called “AlterSchl8hof”, where all different kind of events will take place during the whole year. The 500 years old „Romedihof“ (courtyard) had been completely renovated, nevertheless it retained its original historical charm. The hostel has nine sleeping rooms of various sizes from 2 to 8 beds, each room has an individual character. The lounge contains a stiled stove and you will also find some books, games, a computer with internet access and free WIFI. Right next to the lounge there is a fully equipped common kitchen. Around the courtyard there is a lot of space for barbecue or relaxing.

The Romedihof is located at Brennbichl by Karrösten near the city of Imst. It is within close proximity to various ski areas, climbing crags, climbing jims, cycle & mountain tracks... Within 40 km you will find around 15 climbing crags, 5 via ferrata and about 6 ski areas. The Romedihof is also the ideal base for motorcycle tours, as you can reach many mountain passes within one day. Approximately 50 metres from the Romedihof you will find two cycle tracks crossing: the Inntal Valley cycle track and the second track through the Gurgltal Valley, from Nassereith to Imst. At this point there is also the entrance to the white rafting tour through the Inn canyon. Passing only a few metres above the Romedihof you can walk along the long distance tracks “The Jakobsweg” and the antiquely roman street “Via Claudia Augusta”. In 5 minutes you reach the the bus stop “Königskapelle” or „Imst Brennbichl“ and the restaurant pizzeria Hotel Neuner, in 10 minutes the railway station “Imst – Pitztal” and various supermarkets, in 15 minutes you reach cafes, bars, restaurants and a mall.
