Every year, our sales staff make approximately 10 000 customer visits. Why? Because meeting our customers in person is a priority for us. Understanding our customers’ challenges and needs and offering our special expertise means that we must be where the customer is.

Whether you contact us by phone or email, you will always be greeted by a helpful, real person who is ready to assist you. Our customer service will answer any questions you may have related to deliveries, prices and technical matters.

WEBSHOP AND E-SERVICES

Visiting our website is a convenient way to learn about our extensive product range and read technical information about our products, in Finnish. Contact persons for our product areas and forms for ordering catalogues and brochures are just a few clicks away!

You can register as a customer and place orders directly through our webshop. By logging in to the webshop, you can see the product prices and up-to-date stock levels. You can also see your order history and save orders as templates.

CUSTOMER MAGAZINE

Our printed OEM info customer magazine contains product news, inspiring customer cases and interesting articles about industrial automation. Printed customer magazine has a circulation of approx. 7 000. On our website also features news about products, electronic versions of our OEM info customer magazine, and other news.

VALUE-CREATING LOGISTICS

Our logistics center is located in Turku and serves as the delivery hub for all orders destined for Finland and the Baltic countries. All in-stock product orders from webshop before 3 pm that are placed sent out on the same day.

Our logistics center contains roughly 27 000 stocked product items, and some 160 000 delivery lines leave the center every year. By storing all our products under one roof, we ensure the availability of a large volume of products. Above all, we help our customers boost their procurement processes by delivering the products of several manufacturers in a single delivery.

BUSINESS THAT BUILDS RELATIONSHIPS

Our success is based on us generating added value for our customers. We bring value to our customers’ products and processes by offering technical expertise and an extensive range of components and systems.

Our business model is based on the salesperson identifying a customer’s need. Our product specialists are also involved at the start of a project to produce an optimised solution for the customer. Questions sometimes arise when the project has been completed and the solution is in place. This is where our customer support team plays a key role by being on hand to answer questions and swiftly avert problems.

OEM has been collaborating with Harvia for a long time, and over the past 12 years, OEM has supplied various components to several products manufactured by Harvia. Good products and a deep understanding of the products have ensured the continuation of the partnership. To our delight, we have also received feedback on the high quality and agile delivery of the products, with excellent delivery reliability.

The majority of products delivered to Sandvik are processed according to their wishes. Cables and connectors ordered by Sandvik are a familiar sight in the OEM Technical department, and it could even be said that about 90 percent of the delivered cables are further processed into ready-to-install products to meet Sandvik’s needs.

Thanks to this service, we have continued our cooperation for over 35 years!

Arnon is one of our customers who effectively utilizes OEM’s extremely wide product range. Almost every product area we have has served them at some point, and our product experts have solved Arnon’s problems with component selection. One of the benefits of a wide selection is that all the necessary products are available in one place with a single order!

OUR SUSTAINABILITY WORK

We at OEM want to do what we can to achieve sustainable development. Our sustainability work focuses on creating financial stability with profitable growth, reducing negative environmental impact, maintaining a high level of business ethics, and being an attractive and healthy workplace. We have started from the UN’s 17 Global Goals (also known as the Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs) and selected four that we focus a little extra on.

Our goal is for employees to thrive in their workplace, both at OEM and with our suppliers. We see it as a basis for sustainable economic growth. All measures for our employees are characterised by a professional attitude and clear guidelines for both managers and employees.

The OEM’s Code of Conduct emphasises the importance of, among other things, always behaving ethically and correctly whilst respecting human rights. The Code of Conduct also requires suppliers to confirm that they act within the framework

of each country’s laws, counter corruption and live up to the intentions of the Code of Conduct, for example, by offering their employees a safe and healthy working environment and that child labour does not occur.

OEM’s great competitive advantage is employee competence and commitment. In-depth product knowledge with a clear sales focus provides good conditions for a constructive dialogue with our customers.

Stopping climate change is one of the most significant challenges of our time. Our biggest impact is from the transport of goods and personnel, but also the use of our premises.
