• School lyceum#220 as one of the UNESCO Asp net schools and participated in many projects implemented by UNESCO. • Our students participated in many local and international projects. And these projects created in them how to be a good citizen , they get acquainted with the values of civic society , they learned to understand and respect cultural and community diversity, in both national and global contexts.
• This academic year Schoollyceum participated in several projects that help students to understand how important to live in clean environment , what are the rights of children to live in clean neighborhood
Four Seasons from Forest to School Specific Objectives of the Project To develop an interdisciplinary knowledge. To deepen the knowledge of the element of the natural landscape ( flora, fauna ) . To educate people to respect environment so that people can avoid speculation, pollution, desertification, deforestation. To improve and to develop the use of the English language and ICT knowledge . To analyze and classify the biotic and abiotic components of natural ecosystems in parks and natural reserves

Logo Contest • Students of all partner schools are invited to design the project logo. Those who wish to enter the contest work in pairs, groups or individually and draw the logo • using either digital (e. g. Paint software or Web 2.0 tool), or conventional tools (e.g. paper & colored pencils).
Webinars • Students took part in webinars and presented their work to partner countries.
Postcards and Letters • Students wrote letters and made postcards on the topic of the project and shared ideas how can they save the forests.
Organic Classrooms • Students between the ages 6-17 participating in the project. The activity aimed that each student has a plant and knows the process of planting. We aim that plants should be grown without disinfection and that we carry organic agriculture into our classrooms.
• Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Within this activity students created art objects from recycled materials.
Let’s Plant Flower for Everyone • Students of our school invited to plant flowers and trees in the school yards of all project partners.
Posters • The partner schools created different posters for the project
Bird feeders events Students from different countries prepared different birds feeders and hang them in school garden or in the parks
Expected Results • The project is still going on so these are the expected results • Students are working on different ecological activities, on the theme “Four Seasons from Forest to school" in which they will try to became aware of the environmental problems around their living place and around the world, and find simple and efficient solutions together. By the end of the project we plan to make an e-book “ Ormandan Okula 4 Mevsim” in which we include images , videos of work that will be done during the project.
