Hurricane Valley is an off-road paradise for families, as well as the seasoned professionals looking to get off the beaten path. With miles upon miles of trail systems within Hurricane and the surrounding areas- you could spend weeks exploring and never see the same trail twice. Whether it’s ATV’s, UTV’s, Dirt bikes, Jeeps, Rock buggies, or the family minivan, there’s a trail for you to explore. Trails range from rocky and seemingly impossible to pass, to a perfect Sunday drive down a back road to see historic dinosaur tracks and native American petroglyphs. Home of the breathtaking Sand Mountain Sand dunes flowing down to the picturesque reservoir of Sand Hollow State park you will not be disappointed with any trail you take. There are special regulations in place for riding within the Sand Mountain sand dunes such as flags, helmets, and valid registration, so be sure to check local laws to ensure you are riding legally. If you’re nervous about not knowing where you can explore or how exactly to navigate a technical track, there are plenty of off-road tour companies around to give you the guidance you need to make it a safe adventure for you and your family. Most of these companies rent machines as well, allowing you to leave your vehicle at home and ride their equipment. Southern Utah Adventure Center, Mad Moose Rentals, Coral Sand Adventures, and Ride Sand Hollow are a few of the companies available to you. An off-road adventure in Utah’s color country will be one to remember for years to come.
