HEDDA GABLER*

GIDION’S KNOT

Presented in collaboration with Actors Bridge Ensemble

A parent/teacher conference that becomes a dramatically charged collision of freedom of expression, the failure of our school system, bullying and personal responsibility.

Universally condemned in 1890 when it was written, Hedda Gabler has since become one of Ibsen's most frequently performed plays. Hedda is an intelligent and ambitious woman who has no means of finding personal fulfilment in the stifling world of late nineteenth-century society. Too frightened of scandal to become involved with a brilliant, wayward writer, she opts for a conventional but loveless marriage in the hope of finding surrogate fulfilment through her husband's career.

The Belmont Little Theatre Thursday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 11 at 5 p.m. Sunday, April 12 at 2 p.m.

BY THE BOG OF CATS The Black Box Theatre Friday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 11 at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 12 at 5 p.m.

Adult tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door; faculty, staff, senior citizens, nonBelmont students are $15 in advance, $20 at the door; Belmont students are free.
