MY CONCEPT FOR MY BRAND COLLABORATION IS ON ECOLOGY FOCUSING ON OCEAN ECOLOGY WHICH IS A REALLY VITAL TOPIC ON OUR CURRENT CLIMATE, MILLIONS OF WASTES IS BEING FLOSHED IN TO THE SEA AND OCEANS ALL OVER THE WORLD IN WHICH 99% OF WASTES CONTAINS INDISSOLVABLE SUBSTANCES, LIKES OF NYLONS AND WATER BOTTLES. I BELIEVE IT IS COMPLEMETARY TO THE BRAND, COMME DE GARCONS IS KNOWN FOR BREAKING BARRIALS, ACKNOWNLEDGING THE UNACKNOWLEGED. FOR MORE THAN 5 DECAYS OF THE BRAND’S ACTIVISM COMME DE GARCONS HAS INVENTED AND RECREATED SILHOETTES,TEXTILE MANIPULATION,GARMENT JUXTAPOSITION AS WELL AS SUSTAINABLE COLLECTIONS IN TO THE FASHION INDUSTRY. FOR MY INSPIRATION AND IDEAS I LOOKED AT VARIETY OF EXAMPLES INCLUDING THE SOLENT LIBRARY MARGAZINES, SOLENT LOOK BOOK “CARBON”. I ALSO RESEARCHED MORE IN DETAIL ON SUSTAINABLE COLLECTIONS IN THE PREVIOUS SEASONS SA WELL AS “PINTREST” AND “WGSN” EVENTUALLY GOT DRAWN TO THE IDEA OF VOLUME AND VOLUMINIOUS CLOTHES ALSO TAKE INSPIRATION FROM MY CONCEPT OF EXCESSIVE WASTE.

EVALUATION THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS PROJECT WAS TO DESIGN A COLLECTION IN COLLABORTION WITH A BRAND REATAILIING IN THE DOVER STREET MARKET SPACE THE AIM WAS TO CEATE A COLLECTION THAT REPRESENT THE BRAND IDENTITY AND AS WELL OUR CRAFT AND PRESONALITY THROUGH THE PROCESS AND HAD TO CONDUCT PRIMARY RESAERCH BEFORE HAND. STARTING WITH DOVER STREET, WE EXPLORED THROUGH THERE LONDON BASED STORED TO LEARNED ABOUT THE PRICE RANGE AND SET A TARGET BASE CUSTOMERS THE MAIN INSPIRATION FOR MY PROJECT WAS THE EXCESSIVE WASTES CHANNELED INTO THE OCEAN AND IT REALLY CRITICALL IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW, SEA CREATURE GOING IN TO MASS ECXTINTION AND FOR THE SEA AND RIVERS GETTING CONTERMINATED ,ALSO THE EXCESSIVE USE OF PLASTIC CANS. I WAS REALLY HAPPY WHEN I CREATED MY “CONCEPT ETHOS IMAGE” I GOT MY INSPIRATION FROM A EMPTY BOTTLE OF WATER WHICH I TOOK THE PHOTO MY SELF, I MADE IT INTO COLLAGES AND THE REPETTED IN TO MOIF THEN PATTERNS AND PRINTS. I BELIEVE MY DESIGN PROCESSES FROM THE LINE UP TO MY FLAT WERE REALLY STRONG I WAS REALLY PROUD OF MYSELF FOR SEEING MY HUGE AMOUNT OF GROWTH IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME AND I KNOW I COULD HAVE DONE MORE IF I HAD RATIONALIZE MY TIME, I’M HAPPLY WITH MY COLLECTION IT WAS AN EXPERIMENTAL JOURNEY OF THE YEAR OF 2020. THROUGH THIS COLLECTION I COULDN’T DO MORE LIKE MY MERCHANDISING AND MY SOCIAL MEDIA VISUALISATION AT THE SAME TIME I’M CREATED A SILHOUTTES ON MY BOTTLES DRESS (MODEL 1) AND I BELIEVE I REPRESENT THE “COMME DE GARCONS” BRAND .
