Nativity! The Musical

In celebration of their tenth anniversary year Derby Youth Musical Theatre are delighted to perform this fun-packed, heart-warming musical adapted by the creator of the much-loved films.

Every child in every school has one Christmas wish to star in a Nativity, and at St Bernadette’s School they are attempting to mount a musical version. The only problem is teacher Mr Maddens has promised that a Hollywood producer is coming to see the show and turn it into a film. Join him, his teaching assistant, the crazy Mr Poppy, hilarious pupils and a whole cast of madcap individuals as they struggle to make everyone’s wishes come true.

Feel-good, funny and full of infectious joy, this production features all the hit songs from the films including Sparkle and Shine, Nazareth, One Night, One Moment and a host of many others.
