LGBTQIA + Art in Our Community DEADLINE for entries: April 26
In 2019, we brought together talented artists to celebrate Stonewall at 50. This year, the most critical election year of our lives, we’re not marking history. We’re making history by speaking out through the creative process. While all art made through a queer lens is, to varying degrees, about identity, resistance, and empowerment, our jury may choose to prioritize submissions that speak directly to these themes and to queer culture. We seek outstanding 2D, 3D and multimedia work from LGBTQIA+ artists in our community and beyond. To enter:
• Send high-quality images of up to 5 works to offthewallgallery@gmail.com by midnight Friday, April 26 . No fees... it’s free to enter!
• Provide titles , media , framed sizes , prices —and speak to our jury about your work in a single two-sentence statement .
• Find out the jury’s decisions the week of May 6 and be prepared to deliver accepted, wired, ready-to-hang artwork on Saturday, May 25.
All artwork entered must be for sale . 2D entries cannot exceed combined dimensions (height+width) of 48” and 3D entries must easily fit in our case.
