Sanlúcar de Barrameda, a tiny paradise in southern Spain, is where the Barbadillo family bottled the first Manzanilla in 1821. Since then, the ancestral company has never stopped growing. What began as a single, small winery making Manzanilla, Sherry and Brandy, has become a prominent international group incorporating companies from all over Spain: Bodegas Vega Real in the D.O. Ribera del Duero, Bodega Pirineos in the D.O. Somontano, and Sierra de Sevilla, makers of the finest Iberian hams. North, South, East and West. Barbadillo Co has brought together the best of Spain to create a portfolio that will impress the most discerning experts. From the beginning the winery’s growth in international markets has been a permanent source of pride and motivation. The soul of the company. The origin of everything. Barbadillo is Southern Spain and the sea. Sanlúcar and Manzanilla. It is Cádiz, Jerez, and the torrid levante balanced by cool Atlantic breezes. It is centuries of winemaking and it is the future. Its history dates back to 1821, the year it first started to produce Manzanilla. Since then Barbadillo has evolved thanks to a passion for singular wines that capture the imagination. Unique wines created from the ideal blend of the region’s exceptional climate, distinctive albariza soil, and the passionate work of devoted winemakers. Experts who impart knowledge gained from a lifetime pursuit of creativity and excellence. Wines such as Solear and the emblematic Castillo de San Diego. First produced in 1975, “Castillo” is Spain’s leading white wine and a symbol of the pleasant, good life in southern Andalusia. Manzanilla, sherry, brandy and the still wines from Cádiz… with so many delights awaiting discovery, making your choice may take some time.


From the Denominations of Origin “Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda” and “Jerez-Xérès-Sherry” the winery presents a choice selection of products.

Artisanal production with bottling directly from the casks results in a manzanilla that changes and evolves with the seasons. The perfect combination of mouth-filling rotundity and subtle refinement.

Clean and brilliant shade of amber. Intense and seductive nose. Savoury notes of hazelnuts and toasted aromas. Well-balanced in the mouth with a lingering finish. The dryness of the best amontillado enhances its complexity.

Liquid mahogany, the aroma is reminiscent of noble wood from its time in barrel with hints of dried fruit and nuts. Mouthfilling and dry on the palate, this is a wine to remember.

Magnificent amber colour, intense aromas of fine wood, almond, cinnamon and nutmeg. Dry and powerful on the palate yet showing finesse and delicacy. A spectacular wine.

Mahogany in colour with a range of attractive shades. Intense nose with a pleasantly sweet and wellrounded flavour. An excellent wine that stands out for its smoothness.

Mahogany colour complements aromas of plums, raisins and chocolate. Mouth-filling and smooth on the palate with a long finish. A vigorous and harmonious wine.

VORS

Vinum optimun rare signatum. Oenological jewels that have been evolving in soleras for over 30 years awaiting the opportune moment to astound experts.

VORS Amontillado

Mahogany colour. Elegant and complex aroma with notes of dried fruit and nuts, a reminder of the Manzanilla criaderas of its origin. Pleasant on the palate with a long finish. Dry and expressive.

VORS Oloroso Seco

A dark mahogany colour promises complex aromas. Notes of seasoned wood with hints of walnut, spice, caramel and cocoa. A full-bodied wine, wellbalanced and with a lingering finish.

VORS Palo Cortado

VORS Oloroso Dulce

Antique gold in colour with an aroma that delivers toasted almonds, walnuts and raisins. On the palate it is appealing and harmonious with smooth and persistent mouthfeel.

Amber mahogany colour. Aroma reminiscent of leather, high-roast coffee, vanilla and soleras. Smooth and warm palate with nuances of walnut and sweet pastries. Expressive and well-rounded maturity.

THE SPIRITS It is said that in the criaderas and soleras system, the “old” brandy teaches the new. This one learned the lesson.

The strawberry of the Garnacha, the raspberry of the Cabernet, the plum and the violet of the Syrah and the pepper of the Parraleta fuse to give aromas reminiscent of a clearing in shady forest. Sweetness from some combines with the freshness of others to give splendid fruit in all its glory.

Power and creaminess define this wine. Distinctive aromas from varieties in their gentlest expression. Hints of wood blend with flavoursome fruit and reveal notes of toffee, coffee and toasted oak. Its citrus side affords length and persistence to the fruit.

Exceptional fruit character is enhanced by blending wines that complement each other, just as individual flowers combine to create the perfect bunch. The resulting aroma is fresh with notes of lime and passion fruit. Reminiscent of carnations, citrus fruit blossom and roses. More than a wine: a perfume.

This wine is the result of an exuberant grape and the spirited pursuit of its freshest side, with citrus and passion fruit prevailing over Bulgarian roses. The palate reveals a sweetness reminiscent of mature, juicy fruit on the tree. A white wine that avoids the obvious.

In its structure, power and flavour this wine is faithful to its dual origins. Its deep and perfumed aroma combines the freshness of cherries and redcurrants and the maturity of violets and fruit. Lush and ripe on the palate with an inviting sweetness.

Produced from organically cultivated Tempranillo and Merlot. Violet tones with seductive aromas of flowers, red fruits, peach and strawberry. Mouth-wateringly complex, it reveals sweet tannins on the palate.

Pirineos Moristel

A wine with finesse, aromatic richness and complexity. Rich red colour with tantalizing magenta tones. Aromas evolve during tasting, from succulent ripe peaches to wine-infused pears, and good acidity affords freshness. Extremely persistent on the palate.

Pirineos Parraleta

A small, round grape with delicate skin and dark colour that is only found in Somontano. Acidic and high in tannins, it gives rise to a wine that is both flavoursome and enjoyable. A wine reinvented to proudly recover forgotten aromas and flavours.

Select and refined, this wine is born of a fusion of two varieties that afford it grandeur and fruit intensity. A modern wine with a great range of fruit and spice characteristics, full of mouth-filling intensity and lingering aromas. A wine to set the trend.

Apricot, grapefruit and ginger merge with the freshness of wood in this fine and elegant wine. Aromas of dried fruit and white flowers create great harmony and the wine is creamy and luscious on the palate. The wood and the special selection of the region define its supreme quality.

A fusion of indigenous and international grapes assures aromatic diversity and differentiation. The best vineyards, harvested at the optimum moment, deliver the concentration, the fruit and the soft, weighty structure on the palate. The epitome of Somontano. A great wine.


Our Iberian pigs are raised free-range on large farms in the mountainous scenery of the Sierra Norte Natural Park. This unique ecosystem is part of the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves, and provides the perfect setting for producing premium Iberian ham. At a ratio of over one hectare per animal, the Reserve provides protection, room for foraging and exercise, and an ample supply of the all-important acorns required for super-premium Iberian ham.


Acorn-fed Iberian cured ham The sea salt of SanlĂşcar de Barrameda and the air of the Sierra Morena mountains are the only things to intervene during the curing process of our hams. Three months of balanced salting, ten months curing in a natural drying room and two years ageing in a natural cellar do the rest: an exquisite ham with an unforgettable flavour.


THE ACORN-FED IBÉRICOS

Acorn-fed Iberian ham shoulder Our ham shoulders come from Iberian pigs that have been raised in freedom in the Sierra Norte Natural Park, and fed a 100% natural diet that culminates with acorns during the winter “montanera” season. Thanks to three months of balanced salting, ten months curing in a natural drying room and one year ageing in a natural cellar, a unique and natural flavour is achieved.

Hand sliced Iberian ham A unique product selected from the finest hams and hand sliced by our Master Slicer. Includes: 30 x 100g packets of cured ham, 2 or 3 bones and 50g of ham strips, origin-certified and presented in a gift box with handle.


Bolado Iberian pork liver pâté Rich in iron and oleic acid. The aroma and flavour of authentic Iberian pork pâté, made from pigs reared in the pastures of the Sierra Morena mountains and fed on the acorns of century-old holm oaks. Choose from three flavours; Traditional, Sherry, or Junior.

This selection of Sierra de Seville’s best products is presented in 15 x 100g packets and is packed with the flavour and quality of 100% acorn-fed Iberian pork. Includes; cured ham, shoulder, pork loin, chorizo and cured sausage. The cured ham and shoulder are hand sliced by our Master Slicer.

Stuffed and dried in a natural drying room for 3 months, these exquisite acorn-fed Iberian pork loin products delight the most discerning of palates.

Acorn-fed Iberian cold cuts The best of our finest pork from acornfed Iberian pigs, cured and stuffed to create a traditional selection. Chorizo, cured sausage and black pudding, all with exquisite aromas and an unforgettable flavour.
