ELLIOTT PROMOTED TO OPERATIONAL TECHNOLOGY MANAGER

Pioneer is thrilled to announce the well-deserved promotion of David Elliott to the position of operational technology manager. David’s journey at Pioneer began in June of 2005 when he joined as a lineworker trainee, and since then, he has consistently demonstrated his dedication and commitment to excellence.

As the co-op recognized his exceptional abilities, David accepted the role of electronics technician in December of 2013. In this position, he excelled in managing the SCADA system software, hardware, and communications, showcasing his technical prowess. Alongside his technology and maintenance duties, David also served as an on-call duty foreman, further solidifying his reliability and capacity to handle critical responsibilities.

A testament to his continuous pursuit of knowledge, David completed training in January 2021 to become a member of the on-call group for industrial substation consumers. This accomplishment reflects his unwavering determination to stay at the forefront of emerging technologies and industry practices.

David’s educational achievements have been notable as well. He successfully earned an associate of applied science degree in electronics engineering technology in December 2017, augmenting his technical expertise. Building upon this foundation, he went on to complete an associate of applied business degree in network administration and system administration in May 2022.

With his diverse skill set, extensive experience, and education, David is positioned to help lead Pioneer into the future of engineering and operations technologies. His promotion to operational technology manager marks a significant milestone in his career and an exciting opportunity for Pioneer as a whole.
