Ryland is the recipient of the cooperative’s $1,500 Touchstone Energy Achievement Scholarship, which is awarded to a high school senior who is attending a technical college or trade school after graduation.
JOSEPH (GUS) LAVALLE is the son of Emily LaValle. He is graduating from Ross High School and will attend college to major in engineering, possibly pursuing a career in aerospace engineering. Gus is involved in the academic team, history club, engineering club, Earth club, and St. Aloysius Church. His favorite activities in high school include the Ross Marching Band and JEE Foods, a student-run nonprofit organization.
JOSEPHINE JACOB is the daughter of Amanda and Matthew Brielmaier. She is graduating from William Henry Harrison High School and will attend Miami University to major in marketing in Miami’s Farmer School of Business. Josephine plays tennis, is involved in Key Club, volunteers at the Animal Adoption Foundation, and works at Esther Price. Her favorite part of high school was traveling to different places, including Georgia, New York, and Florida, through the DECA High School of Business program.
ASHLYNN ROOK is the daughter of Christy and Jeffrey Rook. She is graduating from Ross High School and will attend the University of Dayton to major in early childhood education. Ashlynn’s favorite extracurricular activity in high school is varsity soccer. She is also involved in track and field, DECA, and the student athletic leadership team and she works at Raising Cane’s and Tri-State Foliage.
