CATAPULT AND THE ONU DANCE COMPANY Catapult catapulted to fame on season 8 of “America’s Got Talent,” earning their way to the finals of the NBC-TV hit show. Now they are at the Freed Center for one night only with the ONU Dance Company! Catapult is all about the human body and its ability to transform. You won’t believe your eyes as you watch these incredible dancers become a mountain, a full-size elephant, a helicopter and more. The show is not only packed with hundreds of transformations, but also full of humor, emotion and engaging stories. Audiences of all ages will leave this show and never be able to look at their shadow the same way again!

MILLENNIUM APPROACHES by Tony Kushner
Tony Kushner’s 1993 Pulitzer Prize winner has been described as the most influential play of the last 25 years. Set in 1985 in Manhattan, in the age of Reagan and at the onset of the AIDS epidemic, Kushner’s play faces head on the central crises of American culture. Political, religious and social conflicts underpin a story with extraordinarily compelling characters whose personal crises of love and abandonment interconnect with larger societal questions. Angels in America feels as vital and as relevant today as it was when it was written.
Carrie White is a misfit. At school, she’s an outcast who’s bullied by the popular crowd and virtually invisible to everyone else. At home, she’s at the mercy of her loving but cruelly over-protective mother. But Carrie’s just discovered she’s got a special power, and if pushed too far, she’s not afraid to use it. THE WOLVES BY SARAH DELAPPE This startlingly beautiful new play features a girl’s indoor soccer team and offers a window into the world of adolescent female relationships. Nine girl warriors fiercely grapple with one another over issues great and small in a series of scenes that occur during pre-game warmups. Of the NYC premiere in 2016, Ben Brantley, critic for The New York Times, wrote, “The scary, exhilarating brightness of raw adolescence emanates from every scene.”

Charity Hope Valentine always tries to look on the bright side of life, despite working in a rundown dance hall and contending with a seemingly endless run of bad dates. Determined to find love, Charity falls for suave actor Vittorio Vidal but their romance is all too brief. However, when Charity finds herself stuck in an elevator with the reserved Oscar Lindquist, it turns out that she may have finally met her match.
