2 GETTING TO KNOW...
LEAH McFALL
Oh Yeah Music Centre ‘Getting To Know…’ is a regular series at the Oh Yeah music centre that explores the writing and recording processes of a given act and encourages the audience to provide feedback. Most will know Leah McFall from the hit TV show The Voice (2013) who established an unprecedented record for the big box show by storming the Official UK Top Ten Charts with her live version of Gloria Gaynor’s ‘I Will Survive’. Her powerful rendition of the disco classic demonstrated a world class vocal talent and a strong statement of intent - a short four years later and Leah is operating as a fiercely independent solo artist embracing the world through her trademark edgy style, song and soul. Since embracing the independent life Leah has released a mini album, completed a sold out UK tour and clocked up 500,000+ YouTube views - her story is colourful, compelling and from Newtownabbey with love.
