房子装修

Company 公司: collaboration project with 5M Architects Client 顾客: 5M Architects Year: 2o14 年 A wealthy chinese couple bought this villa few years ago. Now they find it quite old style and wanted a new face for their house, which reminds the Mediterranean coast houses. The surroinding landscape was also renewed, matching it with the house. The structure and most of the walls were kept, but we widen most of them, in order to hide the structure and order the interior space, also to apply a stone finishing that reminds the traditional mediterranean houses.

The client, a Taiwanese packaging company, wanted to open a new factory in Jiangsu Province. They wanted the building to be designed according to Feng Shui, with a pleasant landscaping design and an attractive and flexible façade design. The crop lines in the fields nearby inspired us. We draw some lines that will order the whole complex: the different material rows on the landscaping design, the factory structure, the dormitory rooms… For the façade, we designed two different striped panels, following the rhythm of the company initials in Morse code.

redesign &

BIOCLIMATIC improvement of a modular

Spain 生物气候 dwelling, Vitoria-Gasteiz, 维多利亚,西班牙

Course 课程: Bioclimatic Architecture Grade (promoted by Cristina enea Foundation & UPV-EHU) Teacher 老师: Rufino Hernandez & Olatz Irulegi Year: December 2o12 年十二月 (end of grade project) *A qualification

The aim of this work was, firstly, to find the most suitable place in the plot to install one modular dwelling we will later also bioclimaticaly improve. I analysed the climatic conditions of the area. The city was very cold so the sunlight was highly important. After studying the solar incidence on the plot we chose the most suitable place.

2

24

Also according to the solar study I determined and the best orientation for the dwelling.

Looking at the local architecture I found the main solution to the instructions and recommendations given by the diagrams of Givioni and Olgyay. I designed a second glazed skin. A double faรงade in the south face that could be completely open during the summer, allowing a cross ventilation that will refresh the house; and be closed during the winter, to generate a greenhouse effect that will keep the house worm and confortable.

25

All along the northern faรงade I disposed the cupboards and the wardrobes to generate an air camera that will keep the house inhabitants from touching the coldest walls. For the interior distribution I kept the space as open as possible, but anyway I projected some closures in order to keep the warm easier in the areas that are being used in each moment. In the section drawings we can see other of the improvements: the flat roof has been changed for a slopped one. In one hand, we obtain the suitable surface and orientation to install the solar panels; in the other, we create a ventilated air camera that will accumulate the heat.

Louvain La Neuve is a city that has serious problems of connection between it’s city centre and the new residential areas. The aim of the proposal was to solve this problem, generating some connection proposals. We found some critical spots in the slab where the city centre is founded. We perforated this spots to allow the nature comes inside and the villa goes outside. We projected three different building complexes that satisfy inhabitants new needs and some walkways that connected both city sides. To fully introduce the nature in the city centre, we generated a green net that will give the sensation that the vegetation is about to “invade” the city.

LANDSCAPE renewall of a park by the beach, Donostia,

Spain 圣塞瓦斯蒂安, 西班牙

Collage 大学: Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de San Sebastián (EHU-UPV) Teachers 老师: J. Luis Loinaz Year: December 2oo8 年八月 For this project, we were asked to renew this park by the beach. The problem here was that this space was highly used in summer but desert in winter. We proposed to introduce some new facilities for the beach (changing rooms, toilets, bars…) but also some more that would be used the whole year. For integrating this new buildings into the park we created a topography, where every roof could be used as part of the park, as solariums, viewpoints, terraces…

44

To generate the paths and walkways, we studied the ways that usually people took in the park, which ones were used more often. We also analysed the different behaviours in winter and summer and look for the reasons. According to that, we maintain the paths that where more used and shorten the ones that were longer.

Collage 大学: Escola Técnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona (UPC) Teachers 老师: Ramón Sanabria and Alberto Peñín *special mention in the end of term exhibition by Year: June 2oo8 年六月 Carles Ferrater

The task here was to design a luxury single-family house in a very unpleasant place. The people that were going to live here had a very messy story between them that was the inspiration for the project. A flower-shaped complex, where every petal is a room, is the main idea of the project. Every room meets in the centre, but all of them look to their private space outside, some of them have secret connexions… Also the topography is used to get a little more privacy. The plot is surrounded by high walls to avoid the unpleasant views and, inside, more interesting and beautiful views are projected.

The Canary Islands is a set of seven islands in Spain which main touristic attraction are their wild and volcanic landscapes. With this in mind, the Canarian Landscape Laboratory organized an international meeting for architects and landscape designers to analyse the Canarian different landscapes and think about them. All the participants were asked to make a personal interpretation about one area of one of the islands, in order to enhance the value of those landscapes.

I made some conceptual sculptures with local objects of the places that impressed me most. The works were lately exhibited in every island.

Beef tenderloin is a sub-primal cut of beef that spans two primal cuts, the short loin and the sirloin. In some parts of the world it is known as the eye fillet, fillet, or tenderloin. It is known as the tenderest of all cuts of beef.

Cut from the short loin, the strip steak consists of a muscle that does little work, and so it is particularly tender, although not so tender as the nearby rib eye or tenderloin.

Homework

Homework Time Tech-Free

How and benefits

It’s a really hard line to draw and enforce, especially with tech-obsessed tweens and teens — but the better she focuses, the sooner she’ll complete her work. The following items are forbidden during the homework time: iPad, iPhone, iNano, computers, TV, MP3 player etc…

We are ready to be a resource Helping Your Child Helping your child with his/her homework doesn’t mean doing it for him! We know the best ways to assist your child during homework time so that he/she learns and grows from his/her assignments and scores some 100%’s this school year.

Don’t Give the Answers

Environment & Materials It’s important to provide your child a quiet, well-lit space, away from distractions and with all the right study materials —whatever else he may need to be comfortable yet productive.

Designated Space for Each Child

We don’t do the work for your child. We avoid simply giving answers. Instead, we ask questions that let your child see the problem in smaller, sequential steps. We won’t be there to take your child’s tests for him, so doing his tough Chinese and math problems for him will not help in the long run.

Use an Assignment Book:

Even if your children are well-behaved, they’re probably distracting to one another during study time. We have a separate space for each of your children, or schedule quiet times for homework in designated spaces. If one child finishes her homework earlier than the other, we encourage reading time until the entire class is ready for some together time in common areas.

Environment & Materials

From day one of the school year, we will provide your child with a notebook for writing down assignments or designated academic planners. Whatever we choose, we will make sure your child writes down her assignments on paper, which will help her remember everything. When she’s finished with all her homework, we will compare the work and the assignment notebook and/or description from the teacher to make sure

Review Graded Work and Mistakes

We create a regular schedule, allowing for adequate study and free time. Most kids are most productive earlier in the evening and classes will be right after school. Kids need a little after-school play break and at least an energizing snack, before hitting the books. The most important thing is to establish a routine that works for children. We will provide healthy meal after school.

| 12 |

Whenever possible, we are available to answer homework questions. We do a problem or two together with the kids, and then we watch as your child tries the next one. We remind your student (and yourself) that schoolwork is a top priority, and we’re always around to answer questions or look over her work.

21st Century Skills

We look over completed and graded assignments. We will not scold your child for bad grades or mistakes. We will discuss errors to be sure your child understands the material. Incorrect answers are an opportunity to learn, and those tough questions might be asked again in end-of-year exams, so it’s smart to help your child learn the correct answer when the material is fresh in his mind.
