In pursuit of his career, Mr. Platt obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a minor in mathematics from Brigham Young University in 2008. He continued his education at BYU, earning a Master of Science in Structural Engineering in 2009.

Mr. Platt began his professional career in 2009 as a project engineer with Electrical Consultants, Inc., where he was responsible for designing electrical transmission structures. As he moved further into his career with other engineering firms, he was handed responsibilities for designing a wide range of projects, from multi-story apartment complexes and commercial buildings to landscape structures and custom homes. From there, Mr. Platt was granted an opportunity to perform forensic engineering for failures related to severe weather, vehicular impacts, vandalism, and other events that contributed to structural damage or collapse.

Due to his extensive training and expertise, he holds civil and structural engineer licenses and certifications in the states of Arizona, South Carolina, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Oregon, Kentucky, Louisiana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Washington.

He has excelled since 2002 as the owner and operator of Salmon Peak Recording Studio, based in the Southern Texas hill country of San Antonio. Designed and constructed by Jack Piercy of Acoustech Studio Service, a master acoustician, Salmon Peak is one of the finest recording studios worldwide.

As an experienced audio engineer, Mr. Sinko prides himself on providing his clients at Salmon Peak with a state-of-the-art acoustic environment in a warm, caring atmosphere to record their music in the way they expect it to sound.

Looking back over his storied music career, one of his proudest moments came after graduating high school and working alongside the legendary rocker Jimi Hendrix in a studio setting.

Alongside his studio and performance work, Mr. Sinko also loves to support young musicians working hard to find open doors of opportunity in the music business. In the coming years, one of his personal goals is to help additional up-and-coming musicians get their music recorded and out to the public and assist them in forging ahead with their career aspirations.
