EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE, THE STARS ALIGN. Selling our house with the Williamson VanKeulen team was such an experience. Right from the start, Anne Williamson and the rest of the Williamson VanKeulen team made what might have otherwise been a stressful process, quite smooth and at times even enjoyable! When we sold our magical little dream house in Woodland Hills, it was the culmination of our long-term plan of living closer to my in-laws in the Ojai Valley. We realized that if we were serious about buying a place out there, we’d have to get serious about selling our own place. So we talked to Anne. Anne was attentive, knew the area and the market, and did everything you’d expect of a top area real estate professional. She made us feel like we were family. But it was her positive energy, at every step of the way that I believe was the real difference-maker. Not to get too philosophical, but I do believe that you reap what you sow. And within a week we had prepped our place, had an amazing photo shoot (with an awesome photographer who just so happens to be her stepson), listed our house and had ten solid offers to sort through! HERE'S WHERE IT GOES OVER THE TOP. After some standard jockeying and negotiating, one buyer emerged from the crowd and we accepted his fair and generous offer. I’m not sure if I am allowed to name him here. But suffice it to say that when the final walk-through was scheduled to happen, the buyer was very cool, allowing my wife and I to be in the house. We both had been working from our home offices and we were both on tight deadlines. When we finally met our buyer, we immediately hit it off. It was like we could have been long-lost friends and his warmth, charm and positive energy was quite evident. From that point on, we worked together to make things happen. Yes, there were a few hiccups and snags. There always are. But it’s all about how you choose to approach these things that can make the difference between a wonderful experience or a living nightmare. We are glad Anne’s positive energy helped bring us such a wonderful buyer, ultimately making the sale of our house an amazing experience. Thank you, Universe.
