PERFORMING ARTS PAVILLION
The purpose of the pavilion is extracted from the idea of the E1027 House by Eileen Gray, a structure to emphasize the abstraction between the flow of public space with each other and designed with spatial ambiguities of a grid like structure within the circular shape. The pavilion is meant to be a place for musical activities, as there is a stage area near the back for an audience to stand below on the grass areas during performances. As well as smaller rooms with the intent to be a private practice room for one, and an area for gatherings for drinks and food during performances. The roof is designed with 3 separate pieces with an angle reaching away from the center area with intent for sound to not feel so encapsulated but can rather flow throughout the entirety of the site.
