CHAMPIONS OF HEALTH AWARD

During the 2022 Champions of Health Awards, ODA member and past president, Dr. Rieger Wood, was recognized for his determination to change the landscape of dentistry for those in need and for being the driving force behind the Oklahoma Mission of Mercy. He pioneered the committee that planned and executed the first OkMOM by bringing the dental community together to provide essential oral health care to the uninsured, under-insured, or those who lack traditional access to dental care. Since its inception in 2010, he has been and continues to be generous with his time and expertise. Dr. Wood remains as passionate about OkMOM today as he was that first mission in Tulsa, OK.

AMERICAN COLLEGE OF DENTISTS

During the 2022 American College of Dentists 10 new Fellows from Oklahoma were inducted during the meeting in Houston, Texas on October 13. Pictured left to right: Drs.
